Happy Thursday, artistic friends of #sketchbook and #hive! Here I am, bringing you a new illustration—a new version of Alice based on the video game created by American McGee (which is my favorite game, or at least on my list of favorites). This depicts Alice during the "Dollhouse" stage; as always, I’ve added my own personal touch, and here you can see the process.

Showing the process shots next to the finished piece makes this Dollhouse Alice feel even more unsettling, like watching the doll get assembled.

American McGee's Alice is a great muse, and the Dollhouse stage has that cracked-porcelain creepiness that fits your linework perfectly.

It looks so much like Sally from the nightmares before Christmas
