Today I’m sharing a piece I created with a lot of love. I spent quite a bit of time working on it, and I’m very pleased with the final result. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about my country, Venezuela, and everything that’s been happening there, But just as we’ve been very resilient over the years—we’ve held on, persisted, and never given up—I’m certain that despite the adversities and all the trials we’ve had to face, a blessing will come for all of us, and our Venezuela, along with all its people, will be reborn, and we’ll be happy.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Para hoy les dejo un trabajo realizado con muchísimo amor, estuve bastante tiempo realizando el proceso, estoy muy conforme con el resultado final, no he podido dejar de pensar en mi país Venezuela y en todas las cosas que han venido pasando, de igual manera nosotros a lo largo de los años hemos sido muy resilientes, hemos resistido, persistido y nunca desistido, por eso estoy segura que pese a las adversidades y todas las pruebas que hemos tenido que pasar, llegará una bendición para todos nosotros y nuestra Venezuela junto a toda su gente renacerán y seremos felices.
Les presento un cuadro decorativo de la bandera de Venezuela realizado en la técnica de quilling.
Dios bendiga a mi Venezuela a todos sus habitantes dentro y fuera del país 💛💙❤️🇻🇪

• Cintas para quilling. • Aguja para quilling. • Cartulinas. • Guillotina de cortar papel. • Estrellas blancas. • Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería). • Pincel. • Tijera.
• Quilling paper. • Quilling needle. • Cardstock. • Paper cutter. • White stars. • Extra-strong white glue (carpenter's glue). • Paintbrush. • Scissors.
• I started by taking a piece of white cardstock. Using a pencil, I drew rectangles with the correct dimensions for the Venezuelan flag, leaving a small border around the edges.
• I took some yellow ribbon that was 3 mm wide and used a needle to make spirals with it, as you can see in the picture. Based on the measurements I took, I made a total of 21 spirals to fill in the rectangle corresponding to the yellow section.
• Comencé tomando un trozo de cartulina blanca, con un lápiz hice los rectángulos con las medidas adecuadas de la bandera de Venezuela, dejando un pequeño borde alrededor.
• Tomé cinta amarilla de 3 mm de ancho, con ella comencé a realizar espirales con la aguja tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, en total según la medida que realicé hice un total de 21 espirales para poder rellenar el rectángulo que corresponde al color amarillo.

• Using the same method as before, I made 21 spirals with 3-mm-wide blue tape and another 21 spirals with 3-mm-wide red tape. This way, I filled in the missing rectangles to complete the three colors of the Venezuelan flag.
• For the white border, which would serve as the frame, I decided to make some different shapes. I started by making some little white roses.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores realicé con cinta azul de 3 mm de ancho 21 espirales, y con cinta roja de 3 mm de ancho 21 espirales más, de esta manera rellené los rectángulos faltantes para completar los tres colores de la bandera de Venezuela.
• Para el borde blanco que sería el marco, pensé en realizar algunas figuras diferentes, comencé haciendo algunas rositas de color blanco.

• I made some other large, small, and medium spirals, and used all these shapes to fill in the frame of the flag.
• To finish, I took some white stars and placed them in the appropriate spots on the blue rectangle.
This is how I completed this decorative picture, inspired by the flag of my beloved country, Venezuela, using the quilling technique.
• Realice algunos otros espirales grandes y pequeños, y medios espirales, con todas estas figuras rellené el marco de la bandera
• Para finalizar tomé estrellas de color blanco y las coloqué en el rectángulo azul en el sitio correspondiente.
De esta manera finalice este cuadro decorativo inspirado en la bandera de mi amado país Venezuela, en la técnica de quilling.
