My followers may have noticed that a few months ago I started a collection of Pokémon Unown. I mentioned that each one represents a letter of the alphabet and some symbols, and that they’re inspired by ancient symbols and the idea that language has power.
Today, I’m sharing a new piece from this impressive alphabet: “The Pokémon Unown corresponding to the letter H”, in the form of a decorative quilling artwork.
I’m sharing this image so you can get an idea of all the different Unown Pokémon that exist, and so you can follow along as I create them and see how similar they are:

Mis seguidores han podido observar, que hace unos meses comencé una colección de Pokémon Unown, les mencione que cada uno ellos demarcan una letra del alfabeto y algunos símbolos, como tambien que están inspirados en signos antiguos y en la idea que el lenguaje tiene poder.
Para hoy les dejo una nueva figura de este impresionante alfabeto "El Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra H", en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
Les dejo está imagen para que se hagan una idea de todos los distintos Pokémon Unown existentes y así le podrán hacer seguimiento al que voy elaborando y que tan semejante es:

• Cintas para quilling. • Aguja para quilling. • Cartulinas. • Tapa plástica redonda. • Guillotina de cortar papel. • Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería). • Pincel. • Tijera.

- Extra strong white glue (carpentry glue).
- Brush.

• I started by sketching the Pokémon Unown H—which I’m going to create in its original size—on a sheet of paper with a pencil.
• Next, I made the base figure, which is the body of the figure; all Pokémon Unown share this same base, which is then adapted into different shapes and styles. Here’s a link to the first one I made so you can see the step-by-step process; I don’t see the point in repeating it in every post: Pokémon Unown “A”.
• I used 3 mm wide black quilling tape and a plastic jar lid, since I didn’t have a mold that was the right size to make the ring I needed.
• I wound the black tape around the lid until I reached the end, then secured it with extra-strong white glue.
• With the ring still on the lid, I applied several layers of extra-strong white glue and let it dry thoroughly until the ring was completely hardened.
• Comencé realizando un boceto en una hoja de papel con un lápiz, del Pokemón Unown H que voy a elaborar en su tamaño original.
• Luego realicé la figura base el cual es el cuerpo de la figura, todos los Pokémon Unown tiene esta misma base para seguir con formas y estilos diferentes. Les dejo el link del primero que hice para que vean el paso a paso, no le veo sentido repetirlo en todos los post, Pokémon Unown "A".
• Tomé cinta para quilling de color negro de 3 mm de ancho, tomé una tapa plástica de un frasco, ya que no tenía un molde adecuado para el tamaño que necesitaba para realizar el aro que necesitaba.
• En la tapa, enrollé mi cinta negra hasta llegar al final de la misma, selle con pega blanca extra fuerte.
• Estando el aro aún en la tapa, apliqué varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte, deje secar muy bien hasta que el aro endureciera totalmente.

• I cut a piece of ribbon and made three folds in it, applying glue to each fold, then let it dry thoroughly. We’ll need two identical pieces; set these aside.
• I cut out the ring according to the size of the sketch I made.
• I took the leftover pieces from the ring and shaped them straight to create the other two small pieces I needed to complete my figure.
• At this point, I began assembling all the pieces. I took the strips I’d made and set aside and glued them underneath the Pokémon’s base piece. Then I added the remaining pieces as you can see in the image, following my full-scale sketch.
• To finish, I applied extra-strong white glue all over the piece and let it dry thoroughly. This ensures the pieces bond completely, protects the piece, seals it, and adds shine to my creation.
This is how I completed this Unown Pokémon, which corresponds to the letter “H” of the alphabet, in the form of a decorative quilling figure.
• Recorte un trozo de cinta a la cual le realicé tres dobleces aplicando pega en cada dobles, deje secar muy bien. Necesitaremos dos iguales, estás piezas las reservaremos.
• Recorte el aro siguiendo el tamaño del boceto que realicé.
• Tomé los sobrantes del aro y los moldee rectos para obtener las otras dos piezas pequeñas que necesitaba para completar mi figura.
• En este punto comencé a unir todas las piezas, tomé las tiras que hice y había reservado y pegue debajo de la pieza base del Pokémon,luego incorpore las piezas restantes tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, siguiendo mi boceto en tamaño real.
• Para finalizar aplique pega blanca extra fuerte en toda la pieza dejando secar muy bien, esto para que las piezas se terminen de unir totalmente, proteger, plastificar y darle brillo a mí creación.
De esta manera finalice este Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra "H" del alfabeto, en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
