Y decir que amo estar estudiando se queda corto y además de estar estudiando he encontrado compañeras que me hacen muy feliz y sobre todo me hacen sentir muy amada. Mi semana gira entorno a los martes que son las clases y el pasado 9 de octubre una de mis compañeras de clases cumplió años y hoy decidimos hacer un pequeño compartir por sus cumpleaños. Yo fui la encargada de llevar una pequeña torta y la pasamos muy bien y me gustaría compartir algunas fotos de este compartir con ustedes.
To say I love my studies is an understatement; beyond the coursework itself, I’ve found classmates who make me very happy and, above all, make me feel truly loved. My week revolves around Tuesdays class days and since one of my classmates had a birthday on October 9th, we decided to have a small get-together today to celebrate. I was in charge of bringing a small cake, and we had a wonderful time; I’d love to share some photos of the celebration with you.
La clase de hoy estuvo bastante ocupada así que a último momento pudimos cantar cumpleaños. Por supuesto antes de cantar cumpleaños nos tomamos una foto con mi compañera de clases, desde el principio nos llevamos súper bien y ella ha sido tan amable que siempre me lleva hasta la casa y está pendiente de mi y eso me hace muy feliz. Todos saben por lo que estoy pasando en mi vida y encontrar personas que me quieran y me ayuden es una curita al corazón por eso me tomé el tiempo de hacerle una torta, era un gasto que tal vez no podía hacer porque tengo cosas por pagar pero es un gesto lleno de amor y ya llegará el dinero para pagar todo lo que debo pagar.
Today's class was quite busy, so we only managed to sing "Happy Birthday" at the very last minute. Of course, before singing, I took a photo with a classmate of mine; we’ve gotten along great from the start, and she has been so kind always driving me home and looking out for me which makes me very happy. Everyone knows what I’m going through in my life, and finding people who care about me and help me is like a healing balm for my heart. That’s why I took the time to bake her a cake; it was an expense I perhaps couldn't really afford, given the bills I have to pay, but it was a gesture full of love, and the money to cover what I owe will come eventually.
Por supuesto le tomamos par de fotos ai amiga con la torta que le prepare, en esta ocasión hice una torta tres leches que es de las tortas que a ella más le gusta.
Of course, I took a couple of photos of my friend with the cake I made for her; this time, I made a tres leches cake, which is one of her favorites.
Cantamos cumpleaños con todos los compañeros de clases y cortamos la torta y tomamos refresco. Siento que es tan importante estos pequeños gestos que demuestran nuestro cariño y aprecio para las personas importantes en nuestra vida.
We sang "Happy Birthday" with all the classmates, cut the cake, and had soft drinks. I feel that these small gestures showing our affection and appreciation for the important people in our lives are so important.
