I’m going to play Terraria, a paid 2D game my brother gave me as a reward for behaving well and doing my schoolwork. I started out knowing nothing about the game and had to watch YouTube videos to learn the ropes. I’m still learning, but I’ve made some progress.
The first thing I did was explore the map and start digging to gather items—swords, whips, tools, and everything else needed to defeat the bosses.
Defeating bosses is important because they drop coins, tools, items, outfits, and random gifts when beaten.
During my adventure across the map, I’ve already defeated the boss known as the Eye of Cthulhu. I received plenty of rewards for my victory, including gems, abilities, and tools. The Eye of Cthulhu had two forms—one with teeth in the eye and a normal form—and I defeated both; this victory allows me to keep progressing. I always have to save my game so my progress is recorded. The great thing about this game is that it can be played offline.
Right now, I’m chopping down trees to build a house and craft various tools. The next boss I need to defeat is the Eater of Worlds, and I’ll need plenty of accessories and weapons to take him down.
Join me in watching the video and let me know what you think; I find the game very entertaining and challenging.
