The long-awaited summer vacation, after two hellish summer months at work, began on Saturday morning, when I arrived in Cyprus. I didn't pay any special attention to the forecast that predicted precipitation for that day, because it doesn't rain in Cyprus 😂
After breakfast, I put the towel down on the deck chair by the pool, however, the clouds that started to roll in the sky completely covered the sun. The wind started blowing. There was no use sitting by the pool so I retreated to my room. Just in time to avoid the storm that started a few minutes later.
I never expected this kind of rain and storm in Cyprus.
That storm, which hit Cyprus yesterday, creating a tornado leech in the open sea in the vicinity of Larnaca, torrential floods that submerged cars in Nicosia, and in Pernera where I stayed, it brought tons of rain and wind.
That storm and not being able to enjoy the seashore totally distracted me, so I forgot that 29.08 was the day I joined Hive BC 🙂
But there is @hivebuzz who reminded me of that anniversary 🙂

My fourth birthday on Hive came very quickly.
And as an adequate gift, I can count this today's picture from the beach, with sand, sun and blue sky, as expected in Cyprus.
And not the disaster I had yesterday, which I wrote off as a day off, but here it is, it was marked as my anniversary at Hive.
