Hola amigos || Hello friends
Cuando empecé con a incursionar en la fotografía las plantas solían ser mis primeras modelos. Más allá de que me gustan las plantas y sus juegos de colores vivos siempre fueron mi primera opción. Hoy fue uno de esos días fuertes en el trabajo, además la carga emocional que he tenido estos días no me ha ayudado mucho pero tranquilos, son cosas que como adultos pasamos sobre todo con la situación país de donde vivo sobretodo que ha afectado muy significativamente mi ámbito laboral como lo es el sector pesquero.
When I first started dabbling in photography, plants were usually my first subjects. Beyond the fact that I love plants and their interplay of vibrant colors, they were always my go to choice. Today was one of those intense days at work; the emotional strain I’ve been under lately hasn't helped matters either but don't worry, these are things we go through as adults, especially given the situation in the country where I live, which has significantly impacted my line of work in the fishing industry.
Sin embargo, tomarse una pausa siempre ha sido mi método de escape, en este caso, estoy tratando de retomar un poco la parte fotográfica. Siempre ando mirando a todos lados buscando algo que me llame la atención o fotografiando todo lo que se me atraviese. Hoy fue un paseo en caminata por la zona donde vivo lo cual es bastante escaso áreas verdes y la verdad es que no lo había notado antes y eso me puso a pensar muchas cosas pero que no vienen al caso para esta publicación.
However, taking a break has always been my way of escaping; in this instance, I’m trying to get back into photography a bit. I’m constantly looking around for something that catches my eye or snapping photos of whatever crosses my path. Today, I went for a walk around my neighborhood an area where green spaces are quite scarce. I honestly hadn't noticed that before, and it got me thinking about a lot of things, though those thoughts aren't really relevant to this post.
Esta serie de fotos sinceramente no sabía que buscaba en ellas y a medida que fui editando, ellas mismas me fueron revelando aún más sus bellezas. Al prescindir del color y trabajar en blanco y negro, el ojo se ve obligado a buscar otra cosa. La atención se desplaza por completo hacia la arquitectura de la naturaleza: sus texturas, la luz, las sombras y los patrones geométricos que suelen pasar por desapercibidos y es aquí donde el arte sale a relucir. Encontramos belleza en la simpleza, en el enfoque y lo que la foto nos trasmite. Espero les gusta la serie de fotos que tomé en otra pausa obligatoria del trabajo ja ja ja…
Honestly, I didn't know exactly what I was looking for in this series of photos, but as I edited them, they revealed even more of their beauty to me. By stripping away color and working in black and white, the eye is compelled to seek something else. Attention shifts entirely to nature's architecture—its textures, light, shadows, and geometric patterns that often go unnoticed—and that is where the art truly shines. We find beauty in simplicity, in the focus, and in what the image conveys. I hope you enjoy the series of photos I took during yet another forced break from work—haha...
