These past few days I was a little bit busy in the field harvesting my shallots. The season really brought me a bunch of surprises, even when I thought that this would be a good one and the harvest would be nice, but still there were a few unpleasant surprises that popped up. I will talk about that next.
This morning, before heading out to the field, I wanted to shut down the laptop that my wife used last night. But not sure how I ended up checking on some of her graduation photos.
Looking at this photo always reminds me of the sacrifice that my wife has made so that I could have an offspring who will keep my patrilineal line continuing for another generation.
Her body is getting bigger; I think she has doubled from her original body when she was still single. And what was more interesting and more awesome was that her belly stretched and doubled in size during her 9 months pregnancies. Everyone thought that she would be having twins because of how big her belly was. But we know for sure we only have one baby in there, and she was the one who took care of him and carried him around during the pregnancy. I know I have done a good thing as a father, but she had done a lot more than me for sure.
