Petunias in a city park. I went into town today to meet up with friends. We walked around the city a lot, visiting interesting places, and I also took some photos of flowers for you. The photo shows a petunia. Pots of petunias are displayed in the city park. Such a beautiful petunia—I couldn’t walk past it without taking a photo. Of course, I’m sharing my photos with you. In fact, you won’t see more of my photos anywhere else—you’ll find the most of them posted only here. I also grow petunias at home. I have a petunia at home that I planted last year; in late fall, the seeds fell off and overwintered underground. Then it sprouted. It’s not as brightly colored as before, but it’s still very beautiful. This year, I also planted lots of petunias in my garden and in the flower bed. I also have some petunias growing in pots. They’re standing near our gazebo. Petunias aren’t fussy flowers. They like to be watered. You should water them at the base; it’s best not to pour water on the leaves. I water all my flowers about twice a week. That’s enough. My flowers don’t like drought, but they also don’t like waterlogged soil. Nowadays, it’s trendy to give petunias as gifts for occasions like birthdays. A regular bouquet will, at best, wilt within a week, but a petunia will bring you joy for a long time—plus, you can plant it in the garden, and it will delight you with its blooms every year.
