My Actifit Report Card: September 23 2026

Today there were special rituals at the temple and a villager's residence. There was a devata visiting from the nearby villages and everyone in the village was around the temple.

I'm still learning a lot about their culture and what happens when another god or goddess visits here. They have a certain hierarchy, certain order in doing things and so much more.

Today, after some time, all the Gods went to this person's house and then a feast started for the whole village. One of the Himachali culture is feeding everyone in the village whenever they have a function going on.

People sit on the floor and there'll be a sheet spread in front of them upon which they place the plate. The food is served in courses, first rice and different curries and sweets one by one. It's called Dham. I've not had a Dham properly yet. I get shy when there are so many people. So, as usual when I saw they were giving food next, I left.

This will go on for the next two days as well.
