This is a Nigerian movie title lessons in Love, this movie is about a lecturer and her stubborn student. This student is claiming to be the stubborn boy of that particular school. He is a very stubborn boy and he has been to about five different universities but because of the stubbornness that he has they have been sending him away from all the universities. This is the last university that he is now in and he is still a very stubborn person. He has always been underrating every staff of that school and the thing that is giving him the morale to do that is because his father is a very rich man and his father is in support of that school. That is what is giving him the pride to behave anyhow anywhere he goes. This student has always been a problem in this particular university.
The school has always been having different kinds of complaints about him but they have no choice because his father is a very rich man and he can do whatever he wants. At some point this new lecturer just came to the school newly. When she arrived she was at the lecture hall teaching and the student started saying some words that hurt her. At some point she went and reported him to the school management. The school management asked him to tell her sorry. It had been a very long time before he even opened his mouth and told her sorry and he was looking at her as if when he caught her outside he would deal with her. He just said that sorry to end that conversation for that particular moment.
The next day this lecturer was teaching and this student refused to sit down appropriately. He sat down on top of the table which he was not supposed to do and started distracting her class. He was doing all this to revenge on what happened yesterday and he was trying to hurt her more. She told him to sit down appropriately but he refused. He even started insulting her in the class telling all those students that she was a prostitute and that she was just a little person in his eyes. He said his father was rich and if she did anything he would destroy her and make sure they dealt with her. These two have never been peaceful. They have always been against each other. Whenever you see them the student will try to bully her but she didn't have anything to do to him because he was rich and she was coming from a poor background. So whenever he tried to bully her she could only do her best to overcome him.
Then there was this particular day that the boy who was the stubborn student bullied the teacher again and the school management called his father and informed him about it. Immediately his father called soldiers directly. They came together to the school premises and held this boy. They started beating the stubborn student. The father told them to beat him more and more again and this was how he received a very serious beating. At some point while they were still beating him the teacher saw his father and the soldiers beating the stubborn student and she felt that if they continued beating him he could die at that moment. So she ran immediately and came to rescue him. She said that you are his dad but you don't have the right to make them beat your child in this way. What if he dies? This was how she pitied the student and rescued him and this was how he was safe at that particular moment.
Immediately after this happened the stubborn student started regretting what he had done to this teacher. He started thinking about his actions and decided to meet her. When he met her he apologized to her for what he had done and begged her to please forgive him for the bad behaviours that he had shown towards her earlier. This was how they settled and she told him that she didn't have any grudges in her heart against him. All she wanted him to do was to change. He promised her that he would never bully any person in his life again and he begged her to be his friend. At first he was not a small child. He was a very good man but it was just that he was a stubborn person and that was why he had gone to several schools without finishing or completing his education. So he begged her that he wanted them to be friends together and this was how she later accepted the friendship even after everything he had done to her.
After some time they later became good friends. They used to be very good friends together without having any issue. He started feeling some love for her but he didn't know how to express it to her because she was his teacher. She was even giving him home training sometimes so that he could catch up with his education. After some time she was at home when she received a call directly from home and they told her that her mother's sickness had become worse again. This time it was a very serious situation and she needed about 20 million naira to treat her mother or she would die. This broke her heart because she didn't know where to get that amount of money. She was from a poor background and she was just doing this teaching work to take care of some things. She had always been a good friend to the father and she had also become a good friend to the stubborn student.
So the father of the stubborn student who was her friend decided to beg her for some money. She told him she would pay him back but the father told her that he could give her the 20 million naira cash but with one condition. She asked him what the condition was and he said she should accept his son. He said he had found out that his son loved her and the only thing that could make him stop being a stubborn boy was for her to accept his love. He told her that he wanted her to pretend as if she loved him so that he could become a good boy. She had no choice but to accept and act as if she loved him back.
After they were together she started acting to him as if she loved him back. He was so happy and he became a good person. He changed from being an arrogant and bad child just because he didn't want to disappoint her. He had been loving her with all his heart because he was thinking that she also loved him back the same way he did. But unfortunately all the love she was giving him was just a pretend. After some time the relationship had a very serious issue because he later understood that she was paid by his dad to act as if she loved him back. He was so disappointed with her and he cried because he had been deceived and it was hurting him so much. Then after all this he also told her that she was hiding something from him.
There was this particular thing that he and his friends were discussing one day and he said that he was just playing a game with her and after he was done with her he would leave her. He was only saying this because he didn't want his friends to think anyhow but he didn't say it intentionally to hurt her. Unfortunately his wicked friends recorded his conversation and sent it to her. After she played the recording for him he was absolutely surprised and shocked at once.
After everything they apologized to each other. She also apologized to him and explained that she didn't have any choice when she received the call that her mother would lose her life. She just had to accept the offer. Even at that she told him that his dad forced her to accept it because at first she didn't accept it. She knew it would hurt him but she had no choice. He also told her his part and explained that it was not intentional for him to say those words. He only said it to make his friends feel normal and he didn't say it to hurt her. He apologized and told her that he was sorry. This was how they got back together and became true lovers. They both understood the lessons they passed through and decided to change and become very good lovers.

This movie was a very interesting movie to me and I really learned a lot of lessons from it. I enjoyed how the story started with two people who could not stand each other and later became friends and then became lovers. I also liked how they both had to understand their mistakes before they could finally come together. The movie really showed me that people can change when they truly realize their mistakes and learn from what they have done. I really enjoyed everything about this movie and that is why I am giving it 85/100.
