‎[MOVIE] Love in Every Word: She Almost Lost Him Because of His Accent

‎ ‎I watched Love in Every Word and it was a very interesting movie. When this movie was released, people really talked nicely about it. During that time on social media, people were always talking about how interesting the movie was, and the movie really went far. I finally watched it and it was really very interesting, so I want to make my review on the specific part that seems interesting to me. ‎ ‎Love in Every Word is about a lady who met a man that loved her genuinely. Firstly, she had met with so many guys, but most of the people she met always cheated on her and broke her heart. She had not found genuine love for a very long time. So, on a particular day, she decided to go to the village to see her relatives, and that was when she met a man called Odogu. Immediately Odogu saw her, he just felt it in him that this was his wife. Odogu called himself a titled man, and he did not even hesitate. He went directly to her, greeted her, and while they were still having some conversation, he told her, "I love you and I am going to marry you." ‎

‎At first, the way Odogu spoke was so funny, so immediately when he said that to her, she just laughed because she thought he was only making a joke with her. And this was how he kept telling her several times that he loved her and was going to marry her. At some point, Odogu started coming to her house regularly. He would travel from a far village just to come and meet her in the city. He always kept her company and made her happy, but the problem was that she was just meeting him and she could not give him her full attention because she was still contemplating everything. ‎ ‎At some point, the lady started giving Odogu some attention and she started feeling his presence. There was a specific day that Odogu did not call her, and that day she felt so dull. She just felt like talking to him, so she had no choice but to call him and tell him that she missed him. Immediately she told him that, Odogu was so surprised because he could not even imagine that she would call him and tell him that she missed him. Odogu was very happy about that because he really loved her so much. ‎ ‎ ‎It had reached a stage that Achalogo started giving Odogu much more attention. There was a specific time when the lady felt sick, so she called Odogu and told him about her illness. Odogu was very far from her house, but he stopped whatever he was doing, booked a flight and went directly to her home. He took care of her so much, gave her drugs, kept her company and made sure that everything she needed was available. ‎ ‎ ‎Odogu never knew that there was something really bothering his crush and that was why she was not giving him real feedback about how she felt about him. Her friends came to her house and found her thinking alone. They asked her what she was thinking about, and she told them it was because of Odogu. She said there was something she did not like about him. Her friends were absolutely confused about what she was saying because Odogu was generous, kind, respectful and self-aware. He was everything a woman would want in a man, so what exactly was wrong with him? Then the crush replied and said it was his accent. She said she did not like the way he spoke because it sounded too much like a village man. She said he was speaking like someone from the village and not like someone she considered intelligent, and that was what was worrying her. She felt she could not be with such a man because of the way he spoke. ‎

‎Because she did not like Odogu's accent, it got to the stage where she called him and told him that she did not want the relationship anymore. She did not even explain the real reason to him. She just told him to stop coming to her place. Odogu felt so bad after she told him that because he really loved her so much. Achalogo also loved him, but the only thing was that she did not want his accent. This was how Odogu left, and she felt so bad without him around. She started remembering all the good things he had done for her, and she began to cry and regret why she said those things to him. ‎ ‎After her friends came in and found her crying, they tried to calm her down, but it was not working because she missed him a lot. Then the friend decided to call Odogu privately and tell him the secret of why his crush had always been bothered about him. They told him that she really loved him from the deepest part of her heart, but the only thing was that his accent was the same as her father's. Her father was also a titled man like him, and her father was a man she never wanted to set her eyes on. So whenever she saw Odogu and heard the way he spoke, it reminded her of her father. That was the only thing that made her want to break up with him. They told him that his crush really loved him so much and that she was very worried about him right now. ‎ ‎After Odogu heard about it, he now understood the reason why she was not really giving him the love he expected from her. Odogu visited his crush again immediately. When she saw him, she stood up with joy and also apologized for everything she had done. She told him it would never happen again and that now she loved his accent and did not care about it anymore. Odogu also told her that he understood. After some conversation, he removed a ring and asked her to marry him. She immediately accepted with joy, and this was how they put he ring on her finger, and they are both excited because they will soon get married and build a beautiful family together. ‎

‎This movie is really a lesson to me. It is a movie that tells us that you should not love someone just because of money, appearance or the way the person speaks. Love is coming from the heart, and sometimes the person we are looking for may not come in the way we expect. Odogu was not perfect in the way he spoke, but he had a good heart and he genuinely loved Achalogo. For me, that is what matters more because someone can speak perfect English and still treat you badly, while another person may not speak the way you expect but can give you real love and care. ‎ ‎ ‎All the pictures are screenshots from the movie taken by me. ‎ ‎Rating: 95/100
