This movie is about a married couple who were living a very bad life. They were rich, proud, and involved in many sinful things. They were not living a life that pleased God. One night, something happened that changed the wife’s life. She had a serious dream where she saw Jesus. The dream felt so real to her that when she woke up, she was screaming. Her husband woke up and asked what happened, and she told him that she had seen Jesus with her own eyes.
After that dream, the wife decided to give her life to Christ. She stopped doing the bad things she used to do and started preaching to people around her. Many people laughed at her because they knew the kind of person she was before, but she did not allow that to stop her. She also wanted her husband to change and join her, but he refused. He told her that God called her, not him. The couple had made their money through a very bad scheme where they used women to lure men into sinful situations. They would take pictures of the men and later threaten to release the pictures if they did not pay them millions of naira. Because the wife wanted her husband to change and live a better life with her, she reported him to EFCC. They arrested him and took the money from their house, leaving them with almost nothing.
They had to return to a simple and poor life, and the husband became very angry with his wife. He felt that she had destroyed everything they had worked for and promised to pay her back. Instead of changing his ways, he started chasing different women and cheating on his wife. He even did some of these things in front of her, which made her cry badly. She began to question herself and wondered if God really called her or if the dream she had was just a dream.
The situation became worse when one of the women he was sleeping with told him that she had tested positive for HIV. Honestly, this was one of the funniest parts of the movie for me because of the way he reacted. He became very scared and immediately went to his wife and asked her to pray for him.
He told his wife what had happened and finally decided that he needed to change. He started praying at night and gave his life to Christ. He also began following his wife to church and joined her in preaching. They later planned to go to the hospital for an HIV test so he could know his own status.
Before going for the test, he asked his wife if she would still stay with him if the result came back positive. She did not give him an answer. He went for the test and later returned home. His wife asked him about the result, and his face was very serious at first. Then he suddenly became happy and shouted that he was not infected. Everyone was happy, and it was good to see the family finally coming back together.
I really enjoyed watching this movie because it taught me many things about changing from a bad life and finding your way back to God. The husband was also very funny, especially the way he reacted when he heard that the woman he was cheating with had HIV. The movie showed that no matter how far someone has gone in the wrong direction, they can still decide to change their life. I enjoyed the story and I am happy to share this movie with you.
