Both Dressings And Mindset Matters

Src

Clothes were created to cover nakedness, whether they are expensive or cheap; that is the fundamental purpose. But that's not all; clothes also have the ability to add beauty or reduce it in an individual.

Apart from covering our body, clothes also speak on our behalf. The mistake many make is to think it's about how much the clothes are worth; that's totally wrong. It's about how the clothes represent us, rather.

We can simply choose to wear anything we want; it's our bodies and our lives, but we can not choose what those clothes say about us.

Be a good person, have good intentions, but if what you wear isn't proper, people will have the wrong impression of you.

But let's get something straight: not everyone who dresses wrongly is a bad person. The mindset also plays a critical role in this.

An evil person can dress responsibly; it's not only about the clothes, but the heart condition matters too.

My verdict on clothes is straightforward: wear what you would be proud of before your maker and before men.

Your dressing should attract respect to you and not the other way around. One can not dress irresponsibly and not expect people to have bad meanings to it.

When it comes to children, much attention is not given because we all know that a child has no wrong motive when he or she dresses.

All they care about is to see clothes on their bodies and be allowed to play. But for an adult, come on, dressing wrongly should not be something we opt for, no matter the urge.

However, even for children, I think it's wise for parents to teach them how to dress responsibly. With a good dressing sense from childhood, the child should be at an advantage when he or she grows with regard to dressing.

Whether it's a child or an adult, we should dress maturely and reasonably; don't say, “it's just clothes and your motives are good.” Your motives might be good, but a bad dress can cause someone to sin even without your notice.

Why be a reason for someone to sin when you can easily avoid it and make them bless you instead?

Hi there! You made a very valid point. How we dress carries a message and shapes first impressions, regardless of how expensive or cheap our clothes are. Neatness and appropriateness will always speak louder than brand names. Thanks for sharing this great reflection with the community. Best of luck with your post and have a great week!
