A walk through the streets of my town 📸 / @encuentro (ING-ESP)

[ENG/ESP] Among Memories, Friends, and Good Company / Entre recuerdos, amigos y buena compañía

ENGLISH

Hello, friends! I send a big hug to everyone. This is @encuentro, and today I feel encouraged for the first time to actively participate by posting in this community. I always visit as an observer, supporting everyone's talent and delighting in every photograph, so today it's my turn to share a little piece of my world with you.

Today I want to take you on a relaxing tour through the streets of my town, here in Aragua State, Venezuela. I took a walk along Sucre Street and couldn't help pulling out my phone to capture those facades that catch my attention so much.

What catches my attention the most about these walks is that hybrid mix of eras: old wattle-and-daub houses with traditional tile roofs right next to more modern or remodeled structures. Although we know that remodeling isn't easy nowadays, that contrast gives a unique and nostalgic character to our urban landscape.

My final destination on this walk was Las Mercedes parish. In fact, if you look closely in the distance in one of the street photos, you can spot a dear Hive user: I'm referring to @sayury.

We gathered that morning to share a pleasant cup of coffee and coordinate sending some musical material from our friend @raymondelaparra to the talented @edwardstobia. It's amazing how Hive connects us even in our daily routines.

After taking care of work, I dedicated myself to walking unhurriedly, enjoying the weather, the view towards our green hills, and the architectural details of the temples and corners of the parish.

Walking around here always restores my calm. I hope you enjoyed this photo tour because I really enjoyed it; these are small things that fill us with joy.

I think that in your towns, that mix between the old and the modern is also preserved. Thank you for your comments! A big hug.

ESPAÑOL

¡Hola, amigos!

Good morning, my dear @encuentro. From what you say, it seems that over there you still make a habit of going out for a stroll—walking at a leisurely pace and enjoying the company of a neighbor.

Sending you a big hug, my friend.

It's nice how those old structures have been preserved amidst modernization. I imagine walking around the place feels like traveling back in time :)
