Hello friends how are you? I hope you all are fine. I am also fine. So today I am back again with a new DIY. Today I made a very cute strawberry keychain with clay. I saw this on Pinterest and I found it very cute so I thought I should make its keychain. I had two options to make it. One option was to make it with pink color clay and the second option was to make it with red color clay. But personally I like pink color more so I made it with pink color clay. And I think my decision was very good because it was looking very beautiful with pink color and the one I saw on Pinterest was also made with pink color clay. So now let’s make this cute strawberry keychain.
Materials Needed
To make this strawberry keychain we need color markers: black, pink and green. We also need three color clays: green color, pink color and black color. And we need one tool like I have a small knife which comes free with the clay set. And if you want to make a keychain then you need a keychain ring and if you are not making it as a keychain and you are making it just as a decorative item then you do not need a keychain ring.
Making the Strawberry Shape
Okay so to make this strawberry keychain first I took the pink color clay and gave it a strawberry shape. After giving it the strawberry shape we will insert our keychain ring into it because at this time the clay is the softest so the keychain ring can be inserted easily. And if we insert it after making the full strawberry then it becomes a little difficult and it also does not stick properly. So this is why we will insert the keychain ring at the beginning.
Making the Leaves
After this we will take the green color clay and make three small balls from it. And we will give these small balls the shape of three leaves. After giving them the leaf shape we have to give them texture with the tool and then attach them to the strawberry. And we also have to give texture to the strawberry. Like real strawberries have small dots so I also made small dots here with the help of the tool.
Making the Face
Now it is time to make the eyes. So to make the eyes first I made two small holes and then filled them with black color clay. And just like this our clay art is finished here.
Drawing the Face
Now it is time to draw its face. So first I added blush to its cheeks. I added the blush with a pink color marker. After the blush I made its small mouth with a black color marker. And then I used a green color marker to draw over the texture that I made on the leaves with the tool to make it a little darker. And just like this our cute keychain is ready.
