Hello family I welcome you all to hive music festival week 202 round 1, I am favourstrings and today I bring to you all one of my original song.

There are songs you write when life is easy.
And then there are songs that are written on you — in the middle of the fire.

"Hallelujah" was born in one of my trial moments.

It was a season where nothing was adding up. Doors were closed. Prayers felt like they were hitting the ceiling. I was tired, discouraged, and honestly... I didn’t have strength for a long prayer.

All I had was one word: Hallelujah.

In that quiet room, with tears and everything, I just started singing:

“Halle...llujah to the One
who was who is and is to come...”

The moment I sang “to the One who was who is and is to come” — Revelation 1:8 — something shifted.
I remembered: He was there before this trial. He is here in it. And He will be there after it.
My situation was temporary. But He is eternal.
Saying “Hallelujah” wasn’t denying the pain. It was choosing to worship above it.

Then the next line came, and it broke me:

“All I want is to give you praise
All I want is to give you praise and to adore you”

That was my surrender.
I didn’t have answers. I didn’t have solutions.
But I had worship. And I realized: if all I ever get to do is praise Him and adore Him, that’s enough.

That chorus became my anchor:
Halle...llujah to the One
It reminded me that worship is a weapon. Praise is a protest against despair.

That’s why I want to share this song in Hive Music Festival Week 202 Round 1 @musiczone.

MusicZone is a place where we don’t just perform — we testify.
And I believe someone in Hive Music Festival is in their own “trial moment” right now.
They need to know they can still say “Hallelujah” even when it hurts.

I’m not bringing a perfect song. I’m bringing my story.
A reminder that the One who was, who is, and who is to come is still worthy.
And all we really want is to give Him praise and adore Him.
