I been waiting for this game for a long time. It was finally released yesterday. Sadly I did not have enough time to make a real let's play episode yet. Mostly because the game took very long time to instal in my steam. So the real first episode will only come at some point in the near future. Normally I don't play games so soon after they are released but this time I feared that I will spoil myself by watching some youtube videos if I will wait too long. For now I just watched the opening cinematic without even starting the game. It showed our main character(?) running away and carying a small sick child with him. Soon he was surrounded by local lord(?) and his lackeys. The lord wanted to kill a child who turned out to be our sister. But then they were brutally interrupted. A few vampires appeared out of nowhere and slaughtered the lord and his people. After that vampire leader/ ruler seemingly cured our sister.
Even on the low settings game looks awesome. I am glad that my few years old pc can still run it at all. So far both the story and characters looks interesting. But I disliked one thing. I wish that subtitles would also show the name of the character who is says the text. I know I did not notice this ,,problem'' in Witcher 3 or some other games I played. And it is not a big deal at all but for let's playing purposes I would prefer always knowing who is saying what. Maybe this will be a thing once I will finally start a game for real. I hope so. Other than that this game looks very promising.
