Temps, Grain Run, Gas, Cider Party, Tired, Seahawks Blew It - Sunday

So much for the freezing temps yesterday morning, the storm kept it a lot warmer outside. We only ended up with .05" of rain but any bit helps still.

I was rather happy I was not super hung over feeling after the prior day's party and all the drinking we did. I had to get the trailer hooked up to the car before I headed to town for grain. As I drove I could see the little bit of the first snow to hit Mt. Spokane to the east.

4 barrels awaited me at the brewery. This time of year are always bigger batches of grain as it takes that much to make the holiday beers.

Loaded in about 15 minutes I then headed back north for home.

But stopped at the 7-11 for gas which was $.61 off the regular price as it was the last day they did the bonus discount. I made sure to fill the two 5 gallon jugs as well as @stryeyz car.

The sheep and alpaca dove into the grain as I shoveled it into their pen. I will have more to pick up this next weekend most likely.

I watched the PDC until it was time to head to the cider party where I gave Isaac the 3 air lift pumps I had #3dprinted for him and he was excited to receive them and is anxious to give them a try. If they work I will get to printing more for him. We hung out for a little bit, picked up a gallon of fresh pressed apple juice, and got to talk with Isaac and Emily. Then it was back to the house.

After the excitement of the weekend R was beat and ended up knocked out on the couch, warm beneath his blanket.

Seriously, the Seahawks shit the bed in grand fashion against the 49ers. It was a bit pitiful they screwed up as bad as they did. Hey at least the Kraken won their game against Washington.

Right before bed I setup a quick job for next Monday to install a ring camera. Nice and easy job. So far I have none scheduled this week which may mean I can get work done around the property and try and get trees bucked finally.

This morning was supposed to be below 30F but it is 40F again. I will get the boys to school soonish, then today will be working in the garden, working on the trees, trying to get more cleanup done around the property and house, should get a ride in, pick J up after practice this afternoon, then dinner is already planned so it will make this evening a bit easier.

It is a sad indictment that the thing that jumped out most of all was the fuel discount! Sad to say that is where we are at these days though 😁

Snow in the East, huh? I guess that means bigger spend on the other kind of fuel too, oh the joys. A party is always a great way to blow off the cobwebs, which is sometimes the best way to get a little perspective on how to get back at life too. I feel sometimes when we take a step away from the hamster wheel, ideas rework themselves in our thinky-box.

Holiday brew and alpacas, what's not to love?

Good luck with the trees (and the snow on the periphery!!!)

Wow! Big congrats on 10 years too! We used to cross paths a lot but you raced off ahead and really carved out a space here. Well done 😎🌻
