Hey, hey! Has anyone looked forward to this episode? I surely couldn't wait to write about it!
While in my previous post I shared the moment when Chloe, Max and Moses meet in the office of Moses to analyze all the evidence gathered so far and share thoughts on who the guilty one might be, in today's episode we can finally have a proper decision on Chloe's side who walks one more time in the Snappin Turtle Bar not for fun or having a drink, but rather to have some final chats with a couple of people.
Things still feel like being part of the silence before the storm, although precious information is shared within every dialogue Chloe has with more characters of the game, all of them being on the suspects list. So we are still far from the tension and pressure offered by the game.
But leaving on side the pressure and nervousness the game makes you feel no matter the decisions you took so far, I appreciated this moment where Chloe got to speak once again with the suspects she added on the list from her analyze did so far in the game, as it gave you one extra chance to put everything down before jumping on accusations, especially that we are very close to the end of the game and it's hard to repair the wrong choices you make from now on. It's actually impossible, unless you restart the game from previous checkpoints.
But as a person who's not a fan of restarting checkpoints but rather assumes my mistakes (if any are made within my playthrough) and face the consequences accordingly, I took everything more seriously than being a bit relaxed that I could get a second chance to pick things right.
What adds even more pressure is that Chloe never had and never will have the power to rewind time as Max can, which means there is no way to fix in time a possible wrong decision taken.
Anyways, along the video you will see that Chloe gets to speak with Amanda, Ren, Joey and Lucas before making it to Noelle and turning the weapons towards Ren, Joey or Lucas, with the hope that the decision will be right and Noelle will have enough time to stop the possible fire.
My choice was Ren, but I won't get much into details about whether it's been the right choice or not since we will find out about that in a future post shared on here. What did surprise me, though, was seeing that I get to make this decision from Chloe's side since we all know that Max was the main character of the game and the actual person who could stop the tragedy from happening.
What gave Chloe a chance to make an accusation as well was that she got quite active in this chase game where she spoke with people and gathered clues and evidence, turning her into a very important character in the overall game's story.
