Wanted ! Dead or Ali ..... actually just a warning

This is the face of a scammer, to all those who may think or are already on the Rising Star NFT game - just be wary.

In keeping with political correctness and recent woke/gender correctness culture, not to mention his RS picture ill refer to him as 'IT' rather than her or she, .. even though it appears IT has a name like 'Alan'...(who really knows what lies beneath)

Alan.jpg

his Rising Star name is alancantillo12

'IT' has been reaching out to people to buy their RS cards, maybe people who have not been playing for a while.

During negotiations IT will continuously refer to you as 'Bro' in an attempt to build trust, ... I say this now 'attempt' but I was somewhat taken in by this, .. so am feeling a little bit like a plonker even writing this post.

Basically, I was short-changed on the deal which we agreed on once I transferred all my RS cards to him. It was a bit surprising how quickly the tone changed, .. with not a mention of 'bro' after he got all the cards. In the brief exchange after, before he blocked me on Discord, he cited all kinds of reasons now why he couldn't give me the complete Hive we did the deal for. These ranged from.

  1. I took too long to transfer and it only takes a few minutes. (takes ages doing 000's 50 at a time 😐)

  2. He's seen the value of my Hive on Hive Engine so doesn't think I need it. (don't think he's seen my total hive account (shush 😲))

  3. I don't have it right now. (strange..you confirmed you were going to send it to me the day before once I sent all the cards 😏)

I think it's safe to say I'm not going to receive it, but I can at least warn others, .. with a special nod to @bozz who actually warned me on Discord last year about this guy. I just completely forgot about our interaction until it was too late.

so please, .. pretty please (with sugar on top)

pretty please.jpg

.. stay away from this guy, don't fuel his dishonesty.

Calling me 'bro' tends to raise my suspicious. I have sold and swapped a lot of cards to people who contacted me, but I always ask them to send to me first. I have a good reputation and they could call me out if I cheated them. There is the option of putting cards on the market for them to buy, but there are fees and someone could snipe them if it's a low price. Selling cards in bulk is extra hassle.

I see he responded. He needs to send the rest of what he owes you.

Just for transparency.... This is the message i got from this guy....

As you can see, it was sus as hell which led me to reach out to @goblinknackers. Despite the small returns I still play missions pretty much every day. I also find it interesting that they dug into my transactions to find other potential "targets".

As targeting is exactly what I see this as. Sure, it's a public ledger, but for me the bad vibes meter is off the chart here.

This publication of this type makes me laugh. The truth is I am the one who made the deal with Mr. @goblinknackers , I really cannot believe that he wanted to damage my reputation through this publication... first of all, I I am among the top 30 of the rising star game.. Second, I am one of the biggest rising traders and everyone writes to me internally to buy me or I buy cards, because I am one of the most recognized in the rising market.. even higher up is Mr. @slobberchops trying to agree with his friend (because they are friends) when I clearly explained to Mr. goblinknackers, that I had an economic problem at the time (I never blocked him from discord) and for that reason I had to sell all my hive at that time and I forgot what I needed to send him, I asked him to give me a few days while I tried to put together the missing hive (another fact that Mr. @goblinknackers did not mention in his post, is that I sent him 90% of what we had agreed, only 10% was missing to finish paying everything) and even so he decided to make a post wanting to make everyone think I'm a scammer, please hahah .. I don't need to scam, first is the word of one, and just a while ago I sent you an amount of hive since it is what I currently have, I would need about 2% to finish paying you in full... you can see everything in the transactions and you will realize this... another thing, his account was worth much less and even so I exceeded his price and bought it from him, so I don't see why he mentions that I am a scammer, a scammer would not have given him even 1 hive, I just hoped that he would send me everything and that's it, but hey, that's the world, the rich complaining about pieces

Someone should make an Escrow service for these kinds of things. Perhaps on Hive-engine.

Reputation (one's word) is everything. Apparently his doesn't mean much. In the end scammers always lose.

I'm sure I did warn you about this guy. 'Make sure you get ALL the HIVE before sending even 1 Rising Star card'.

I sold my entire collection to him and it worked out for me. He complained, moaned, hassled me in the middle of the night and the deal was not great, but I wanted out and so have no regrets.

My advice is: DO NOT BEND. He wants the cards, and has the HIVE, but don't trust him, at all.

@gungunkrishu had some dealings with him.

As he blocked you, I will make sure he sees this.
