The New York City Seventh Avenue Garment District has been the center of fashion in the United States for generations. Historically, stores on New York's Fifth Avenue featured the latest styles because these stores would get their clothes directly from designers in the Garment District. It was at one of these stores that I worked in my first job. This sight (picture below), of someone pushing a hand truck loaded with fabric, was quite common in the Garment District. I didn't walk through the District when I went to work, but it was an adjoining neighborhood. Before she was married, my mother worked there as a seamstress and when I was growing up my aunt worked there as a pattern maker. New York City's Garment District was in my blood, but somehow those fashion genes skipped me.

The American friends I've met so far at Hive are men from Oregon, Wyoming, and Texas, but this was my first conversation with a woman from New York.

Madam @agmoore is a white American woman from New York who is the same age as my mother.

My first job was part-time and temporary. The store was Ohrbach's, which featured high fashion at less than premium prices. I went to an employment agency to find the job and for some reason that agency thought I would be a good fit in the store. This was an interesting experience for someone who knew nothing about clothes and really didn't care much (at all) about fashion.

She reportedly worked as a cashier at a clothing store called Ohrbach. For her, Ohrbach was her first job and she was proud of it!

When she worked at Ohrbach, America was at a time when women worked alongside men in society.

East Asian historians like me claim that that era was the birth of the first feminism in America!

I don't know much about American feminism and feminists, but I remember that they demanded equal wages and working conditions with men in society!

In the 1950s, the United States experienced an economic boom, and as American civilians emerged into the middle class, mass production, consumption, and leisure culture developed.

During this period, American women gained a variety of jobs in society, and in particular, they became wealthy as they worked in sales, public relations, and service industries.

Beginning in the 1950s, American women's wealth and power increased as they entered various occupational classes in society. John F. Kennedy was the man who took best advantage of this situation.

American television broadcasting, which began in the 1950s, penetrated deeply into American families, and women also became involved in American politics while watching TV.

John F. Kennedy was born with a genius talent for actively utilizing television broadcasting. With his handsome appearance, noble family, and soft and charming demeanor, he emerged as the Prince Charming of American women.😄

The debate competition between Kennedy and Nixon that took place on TV was decided as American women were attracted to Kennedy's physical charm.

I wonder if my respected senior would agree with me!😆

East Asian men like me think that if there had been no TV, Nixon would have won over Kennedy!

By the way, I think it was natural that American women voted for Kennedy because he was more attractive than Nixon!😄

The 1950s was an era when American department stores began to have global influence. In particular, young American women in their late teens began to take their first steps into society by getting jobs at department stores.

I thought that the young and beautiful @agmoore of the 1960s also started out as a member of society by getting her first job at a department store!

In the original 1960 Twilight Zone episode, there were many beautiful women at American department stores in the 1950s, so I imagined that Madame @agmoore was a beauty!

My dear elder brother Steve is always worried that I will make this mistake!😅

While chatting with Madame @agmoore, I was surprised to learn that people from New York are completely different from people from Oregon, Wyoming, and Texas!

Because the United States is such a large continent, and there are so many different races, cultures, and religions from all over the world, Steve always advised me to look at the other person first before speaking.

Steve, @valued-customer, Joseph, and Rob all live in the wild and desolate wilderness and mountains, but Madame @agmoore has lived in the city of New York her entire life.

I don't know much about American geography, but New York felt more like a European city than Oregon, Wyoming, and Texas! I am told that people on the eastern side of the United States have a completely different race and culture than those on the western side!

The works of Laura Elizabeth Ingalls Wilder (February 7, 1867 – February 10, 1957) were a must-see for modern Japanese and Korean men. Very popular. Especially understanding women in the western region of the United States. It is considered a valuable resource!

Melissa Sue Anderson (born September 26, 1962) is an American-Canadian actress. She began her career as a child actress after appearing in several commercials in Los Angeles. Anderson is known for her role as Mary Ingalls in the NBC drama series Little House on the Prairie (1974–1983), for which she received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Melissa Sue Anderson is a typical American blonde beauty who has become very popular with Japanese and Korean men!

She remains an important memory from my childhood!

I wonder how often people mention me in blogs or other places too. I wonder if I get notifications or anything that might alert me to when I'm referenced in writings or videos.

America's golden age was in the 1890s. Like the stock market, the United States have had multiple golden ages, several peaks, but the highest point was likely in the 1890s. Yeah, the 1950s was another high point as well. The 1980s was interesting as well. The 2030s has the potential to being very high or very low depending on what many people decide to do.

This is a very interesting exercise in primary source history, @goldgrifin007. You picked up the evidence from blogs that you read here, from the people who live different lives in different places, and you put them together in a kind of thesis. It's a fascinating result.

Let me give you some information that affirms and corrects what you write.

For one thing. I was never beautiful. My mother was Sicilian and my father descended from Northern Europe. I was and am a feminist. Being a feminist in the U.S. meant, for me, not working in an office. After working in an office, I sought and obtained a job that involved working in cargo rooms and warehouses. I worked shifts, morning noon and night. Sometimes I was all alone and was responsible for millions of dollars of merchandise. I was indeed a feminist. Feminism is believing that men and women may be different but have equal rights to strive and achieve to the best of their ability.

As for the races being different in different parts of the country--no, that's not the case. We have different races, but these are not confined to one part of the country. We have farmers in the middle of the country, but also in New York and on the West Coast. My grandfather was a farmer, in upper New York. We have regional differences for sure, but I travel around the country and everywhere I go I feel at home. I could move tomorrow from New York to Wisconsin or Oregon and fit right in with the people who live there.

New York City does have a lot of immigrants, more than many other places. I think, though, Miami, Florida might have more and also Los Angeles, California.

All across the country we speak English, but where I live there are so many immigrants that public notices are also published in Spanish and Chinese. We have school holidays in my community for Christian, Jewish, Chinese and Muslim holidays. Not all areas of the U.S. do that.

Anyway, I hope this helped to clear up the picture a bit for you. I have read a great deal about Korea and its history. I know something about how your writing system evolved. I love Korean movies and shows. My daughter and granddaughter visited Korea (when my granddaughter was just learning to walk as a child). As a matter of fact, I have a picture of my granddaughter dancing in a hanbok.

The more we know about other cultures, the more we understand about them, the greater our understanding of human beings. There is no more fascinating study than the study of human nature.

You are perceptive. Feminism as I understand it began in the late 1800's, after reconstruction had reformed the South and the Gay 90's created a surge in wealth for oligarchs that markedly left the poor behind. Many social movements surged in response to the rise in GINI, and American governments transformed in the effort to suppress them and protect the sybaritic wealth of the oligarchy.

Wilder almost perfectly exemplifies the rise of Feminism after the Civil War in America. 'The Little House on the Prairie' reveals the power of family and the basis for civil society being undermined by Feminism, and prophecies the same foundation of strong families that will underlie the post-imperial survivors after the coming collapse necessarily becoming independently productive in a network of similarly strong productive families. Wilder lived in exactly the era in which American Empire burgeoned, and died immediately prior to the zenith of that empire, after which Feminism, Israel, and other similarly parasitic social movements hollowed it out and consumed it from within, leading to the present final collapse in progress.

As I think the zenith of the American Empire ended with the assassination of JFK in 1963, and we have been living through the decline to what appears to be the final destruction of the American Empire today, Feminism has in many ways been a knife in the back of empire and has taken much of the power in that empire which has been actively used to destroy it, so the early 1960s represents a shift in which Feminism was unleashed to eat the source of it's power, as typically marks declining empires. These are the twists of the knife in the back of empire that precipitate their own destruction as destroying the family and the natural roles men and women fill inevitably destroy the society that empowers empire. But there is a fundamental change occurring in industry today that has not been part of history, and that is decentralization of the means of production being the leading edge of technological advance. It is for this reason I am striving to adopt decentralized means of production while these industrial tools are inexpensive and ubiquitous. Because of this clinal boundary that is ongoing, BRICS will only temporarily appear to inherit the mantle of America as the hegemon of the world, until centralization is parasitized by decentralization of industry, and the economic balance of power necessarily follows. Hive uniquely demonstrates the last gasp of centralization coming, as it falsely claims to be decentralized, but is actually completely centralized. An oligarchy runs Hive with 100% of the political power attained by >50% of the stake on the platform. This oligarchy claims to have decentralized the jurisdictions in which it operates, but almost all of it's code is running on the cloud, the actual jurisdiction of the tech oligopoly in which Hive exists. >90% of the economic power represented by Hive tokens is claimed by the Hive oligarchy, and, just like the traitorous social movements Feminism and Israel that have fatally parasitized America, the oligarchy has hollowed out the user base of Hive, which I believe faces imminent collapse as a result of this deception and treachery today.

The internet itself is just a larger version of Hive, in fact. The imminent imposition of biometric ID to use the internet will not create a powerful digital empire, but destroy it. Chaos is a ladder. Empires cannot climb ladders because their Brobdingnagian mass cannot be supported on ladders. Only individuals can climb ladders, being lithe and lean. Because the laws of physics have mandated that decentralization of the means of production is the fundamental mechanism by which productivity can increase, individuals that adopt the decentralized means of production suitable to their circumstances will emerge from the coming chaos as the foundation of civilization in the new era that will create the clinal boundary between the old world and the new. Fundamental to that production will be posterity, as people that don't produce children die. Families are the ultimate decentralized means of production of mankind, and will be what survives Feminism, Sexualism, Zionism, and all the other parasitisms that have consumed the American Empire, and will suddenly be left with nothing to consume but BRICS, which they are not adapted to prey on. As centralization, which the BRICS exemplify, is out competed by decentralization, the surviving people of the world will prosper because they are the most productive, and inherently immune to parasitization.
