I’ve been a bit absent around here, but I haven't stopped drawing. I have several pieces ready to show you, I just haven't had the time to upload them. Making a drawing usually takes me around 30 minutes, so the art process itself is fast, but writing and putting a post together takes more time, and sometimes my daily schedule just doesn't allow it.
Today I decided that instead of drawing, I’d take the time to share what I’ve already finished. That way I also get to take a small break from drawing, which is always necessary to disconnect for a bit.
On another note, I’ve been trying to reduce my screen time, both on my phone and my laptop, by filling my free time with other activities like reading. Right now, I’m reading The Neverending Story, a fantasy book set in the magical realm of Fantastika. It’s a beautiful book with a slightly melancholic vibe; I had put it on hold a while ago due to lack of time, but I finally picked it up right where I left off.
As for the artwork, I initially wanted to draw a girl in a Greek-inspired outfit, somewhat like Athena. It ended up turning into a portrait of a very pretty girl, and I added some flowers to her hair to give her an extra touch of femininity. I really hope you guys enjoy it!

He estado un poco ausente por acá, pero no he dejado de dibujar. Tengo varios trabajos pendientes por mostrarles, solo que no me había dado el tiempo de subirlos. Hacer un dibujo puede tomarme unos 30 minutos, así que no me lleva tanto tiempo, pero redactar y estructurar el post sí requiere más dedicación, y a veces la rutina no me lo permite.
Hoy decidí que, en lugar de ponerme a dibujar, voy a ir compartiéndoles lo que he hecho. De esta manera también me tomo un descanso de la tinta, algo que siempre viene bien para desconectar.
Por otra parte, he estado intentando reducir el tiempo que paso frente a las pantallas (tanto del teléfono como de la laptop) aprovechando el tiempo libre para hacer otras cosas, como leer. Ahora mismo estoy leyendo La historia interminable, un libro de fantasía ambientado en el mágico reino de Fantasia. Es una obra hermosa, con un toque melancólico; la había dejado pausada por falta de tiempo, pero ya la retomé justo donde la dejé.
En cuanto al dibujo, mi idea inicial era ilustrar a una chica con un atuendo de estilo griego, como si fuera la diosa Atenea. Al final terminó saliendo el retrato de una chica muy bonita, a la que le agregué unas flores en el cabello para darle un toque más de feminidad y delicadeza. Espero que les guste mucho el resultado.
