I discovered a place on the Periférico in Mérida, Yucatán, where they have live music for dancing starting at noon and delicious snacks. These kinds of restaurant-bar establishments are very popular and have a family-friendly atmosphere.
My visit was brief, but I would definitely go back another day when I have more time.
