So it was beer o'clock, which in all honesty can be anytime! I need refreshment, alas the bar didn't open until 5pm, so it was a case of hanging around on a street corner for awhile...(im)patiently!
Promised a bar like no other, patience is a virtue, I do not and never have possessed if I am being honest!

When I eventually got to peruse the bar there were a fine array of strong beers available: there had been a delay, due to the bar tender and myself laughing uncontrollably when one of the women in my travelling group asked if she could get a "pot of tea for two"
Thank fuck it was the last day and I would never see these people again, sometimes I hook up with strangers, fun people, living la vida loca, with whom I can gel. Other times, like this time, I do not. I seriously get depressed being around some people.
Put out by the guffawing she and her husband noses in the air left to find a starbucks or an "olde worlde tea shoppe"
Beer menu, strengths and costs a neat touch, though the barman spoke perfect english it was easy to order a couple of premium pilsners, well hell one is not gonna hit the spot is it.
Though when I enquired about the free lager, hmm! he had conveniently run out!
