What I Will Be While Attending The Ladies Of Hive Masquerade Ball. LOH310.

First of all who doesn't like a party?, Not just any kind of party, a lavish masquerade meetup organised by the Ladies of Hive community? please I am already imagining the outfits, the masks, the music and the kind of pictures that will make people wish they were there.

Now if I had to choose a character to dress as for this event I think I would go with Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland story.

Before you people start judging me let me explain myself.

There is something about that character that makes her stand out, The Queen of Hearts is bold, dramatic, colourful and definitely not the kind of person you would fail to notice when she walks into a room.. If I am attending a masquerade meetup, I don't think I want to wear something ordinary, if I am going to dress up then let me dress up very well.

Just imagine me walking into the venue in a red gown a gorgeous crown, a matching masquerade mask you know, aall the little details that would make the outfit look royal, the dress would be giving elegance the crown would be giving authority and my entrance? Please somebody should announce that the Queen has arrived!

Because I know the Queen of Hearts is not exactly the nicest character in that story, she is known for her temper and her famous threats. , and yes I am not trying to go around shouting "Off with their heads!" at my ladies of Hive party, We are there to have fun not to create a court case.lol.

I like the idea of taking inspiration from a fictional character who is so bold and unforgettable, sometimes dressing up is not about looking beautiful, it is also about stepping outside your usual self and allowing yourself to have fun with a completely different personality.

Besides how often does one get the opportunity to dress like royalty without having to worry about the cost of maintaining a palace? You see there?..

I can already imagine the other ladies arriving as historical figures, famous writers, artists and all kinds of interesting characters, I know the conversations alone would be worth attending, Imagine trying to guess who everyone is dressed as and taking pictures together and hearing the stories behind their choices.

Honestly that sounds like an amazing evening, to me.

So for this masquerade I am choosing the Queen of Hearts, because I will bring the red, the drama, the crown and enough royal attitude to make the night memorable.****

Yes, there are no hard and rigid rules. An event like this is meant for pure clean fun, know one another, strengthen our communities and deepen friendships if it were all possible. It would be a dream to see everyone in one place and meet each other face to face in a context of an extraordinary and meaningful meetup. I don't think I will see the Queen of Hearts the same way again. ❤️🖤❤️
