Greetings, Sketchbook community! I recently set myself a little creative challenge: I wanted to see for myself if the well-known 3D-effect technique using only two colors actually worked. After creating a few test sketches, I was surprised to find that the optical effect is very real and creates an incredible sense of depth. This discovery gave me the push and motivation I needed to start a more substantial project. I decided to apply the technique to an illustration of a character known as the "Forest Healer," whom I depicted taking a rest, lying on his bed. It was a fascinating challenge to ensure that both the room's perspective and the character's anatomy worked together to enhance this two-color effect. What do you think of the result? ¡Saludos, comunidad de Sketchbook! Hace poco me propuse un pequeño reto creativo: quería comprobar por mí mismo si la famosa técnica del efecto 3D utilizando solo dos colores realmente funcionaba. Después de hacer algunos bocetos de prueba, quedé sorprendido al ver que el efecto óptico es completamente real y genera una profundidad increíble. Esta revelación me dio el impulso y la motivación que necesitaba para iniciar un proyecto más completo. Decidí aplicar la técnica en una ilustración de un chico conocido como el Sanador del Bosque, a quien dibujé en un momento de descanso, acostado en su cama. Fue un desafío muy interesante lograr que la perspectiva de la habitación y la anatomía del personaje jugaran a favor de este efecto bicolor. ¿Qué les parece el resultado? ¿Han intentado alguna vez este tipo de ilusiones ópticas en sus dibujos? ¡Me encantaría leer sus opiniones y consejos!
