WHAT WOULD SCHOOL REALLY LOOK LIKE IF PHONES NEVER EXISTED
Personally, I believe that school will still be School if phones never existed. Unlike in our present society where students as low as Primary School now use enhanced digital equipments such as mobile phones, tabs and so on to carry out this like playing games, making videos, for social media.
When I was in the university android phones we're not in circulation as at my 100 and 200 level, i still remember using my qwerty Nokia phone which was quite popular back then before we transitioned into the use of blackberry phone. Looking back now all we had concerning social media was Facebook, 2go and pinging.
My point exactly is that it is better than what is going on in our contemporary world where students are more invested in their mobile devices than engaging in activities that would make them grow in their academic careers.
If we should engage contemporary students in questions of how they can manage and use Nokia devices or blackBerry phones that did not have large screens to do assignment and partake in daily activities I'm sure they would be like the olden days where like a torture but we were able to make the best out of it especially concerning our academics.
I don't think there will be any particular difference if phones did not exist in schools it would make students more focused and engage in the use of libraries to get their academics done. From current researches so far we discover that, the use of the library is becoming redundant as students depend on their mobile devices for materials and files to help them with their academics rather than actually sitting in a quiet space and reading books physically.
