For CCC's Street Art Contest #323 hosted by @digi-me, I show you for the first time (at least I think) a visit to the Legal Wall de Rouen at the end of June in Montreal. For those who don't know this place, it's a #StreetArt spot where artists can come and paint legally and thus develop their ideas in complete peace of mind.
Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #323 organisé par @digi-me, je vous propose pour la première fois (enfin je pense) une visite du Mur Légal de Rouen à la fin du mois de juin à Montréal. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas ce lieu, c'est un endroit où les artistes peuvent venir peindre légalement et ainsi développer leurs idées en toute quiétude.
And as anyone can come, the two walls of this viaduct are constantly changing. That day, we can see in the viaduct, a "bio-monster" by the artist Aldarwin.
Et comme tout le monde peut venir, les deux murs de ce viaduc sont en perpétuel changement. Ce jour là, on peut apercevoir dans la viaduc, un bio-monstre de l'artiste Aldarwin.

The Legal Wall de Rouen is located on de Rouen street at railway level in Montreal's Hochelaga Maisonneuve district, a landmark for StreetArt in the city since 2010.
Le Mur Légal de Rouen se trouve sur le rue de Rouen au niveau de la voie de chemin de fer dans le quartier Hochelaga Maisonneuve à Montréal, un lieu emblématique du StreetArt en ville depuis 2010.

We start with a work by Astro which resisted the entrance to the viaduct for more than a week. It's true that these two little monsters are very friendly. There is an unwritten rule that a quality work deserves to stay in place for a few days like also the portrait done by Laine.
Nous commençons avec une oeuvre de Astro qui a résisté plus d'une semaine à l'entrée du viaduc. C'est vrai que ces deux petits monstres sont bien sympathiques. Il y a une règle non écrite qu'une oeuvre de qualité mérite de rester en place quelques jours comme le portrait fait par Laine.
I like this little tag, a fairly stylish skull, perhaps not finished during my visit. / FR : J'aime bien ce petit tag, une tête de mort assez stylée, peut-être non terminée lors de mon passage.
Another interesting point of this place is that we find different styles like this lettering in the "Bubblegum" colors 😀 from an unknown artist. Then next to it, there is another lettering with 3D letters from the artist Dyske. Too bad it was tagged before my visit.
Autre point intéressant de ce lieu, c'est qu'on retrouve des styles différents comme ce lettrage au couleur "Chewing-gum" 😀 d'un artiste inconnu. Puis à côté, il y a un autre lettrage avec des lettres en 3D de l'artiste Dyske. Dommage il a été taggué avant mon passage.
We finish the first wall with the only work still present, the Mr Can Do It by Scan, a Montreal artist, a legend of #StreetArt gone too soon. But the respect is always there. Below, new lettering of Wonder with a Bender style robot from Futurama.
On termine le premier mur avec la seule oeuvre toujours présente, le Mr Can Do It de Scan, un artiste montréalais, une légende du #StreetArt partie trop tôt. Mais le respect est là. En dessous, un nouveau lettrage de Wonder avec un robot style Bender de Futurama.
Crossing the rue de Rouen, we have a work by a regular from the Legal Wall de Rouen, the artist of Mexican origin, Aldarwin with a new monster. I wonder if the eye is part of the work "originally".
En traversant la rue de Rouen, on a une oeuvre d'un régulier du Mur Légal de Rouen, l'artiste d'origine mexicaine, Aldarwin avec un nouveau monstre. Je me demande si l'oeil fait partie de l'oeuvre "originalement".
This is an example of the constant evolution of walls with Blast lettering on top of another lettering. We can even see the top of the head of another portrait of Laine.
Voilà un exemple de la constante évolution des murs avec un lettrage de Blast par dessus un autre lettrage. On peut même apercevoir le haut de la tête d'un autre portrait de Laine.
