Some more photos that I took in AC Black Flag Resynced

As I progress in the game, I get to unlock more outfits and areas of the map. I also got better at taking photos with regards to the settings and timing. Previously, I had this post for my first time trying out the photo mode and I really enjoy it.

The thing about photo mode is that it's not just some random screenshot from the game you're playing. Once you press the photo mode (in this case F3), your camera can move freely just like how you move if you're in a 3d software. That means you are the one deciding which angle you're gonna take the shot from.

It's also not just that, you gotta have to time the movement so you have to press F3 mid-combat or mid-jump as once you press it, everything freezes.

Here on this shot above for example, I kinda have an idea already what moves my character is gonna do so I waited patiently until the moment he does the final kill and entered the photo mode. I also adjusted the temperature, brightness, field of depth, etc... just like how I would do with my photography.

I like how I blurred this one, makes it cinematic. :P

Here is when I realized how the depth of field in this photo mode actually worked. I didn't scroll down to see a manual adjustment option and though only an auto focus exist, which sucks. So I didn't use it for a long time.

I can also add some grains and added a bit of warmth to it so it kinda looked like a photo using Fujifilm camera lol. The editing in the photo mode is quite limited unless of course I edit this on other editing programs.

There are so many areas in the game where the sun hits a nice way like this but you gotta have to wait for the right time or even be able to notice it.

This is one of my favorite shots that I took. While randomly running around Havana searching for loots, I stumbled upon this scene here where a lady was walking towards an alley that perfectly had no other NPCs and a sun was hitting the pavement nicely.

This is what I really want to do irl with my Fuji camera but I'm too coward to do a street photography. I think it's just putting yourself out there makes me shy and conscious of myself and people's reactions. But thankfully this game gives me that satisfaction. :D

I also love the still life in this game. There are so many details and stories behind them that makes them so interesting.

I love how the sunset looks like in this game.

Lastly, one of my favorites as well. When I went to an island I discovered while sailing, I was surprised to see a body floating there but also the sun was shining so good I had to take a photo of it.

Having the sun shine like this in the game doesn't always happen and you have to be always on the lookout to be able to capture something like this.

I think my ADHD makes it so I am always distracted that I notice small details like these. I am almost never attentive to the combat or the mechanics of the game. In fact, I miss a lot of instructions just because I wasn't paying attention or reading. But because I am always looking at something else, I get to notice perfect things to capture in photo mode.

What other games that you know of have some awesome photo mode?

I'd like to try them at some point. :D

The lighting in these shots was seriously good. I love how you noticed these little details. The warm tones really gave some shots a film look.

That Havana alley photo was probably my favorite from the whole collection. The empty alley, the woman walking through it and that patch of sunlight made it look like an actual street photography shot.

What other games that you know of have some awesome photo mode?

I'm playing Dying Light: The Beast right now. I'm not saying it has an awesome photo mode but it has a good photo mode. Leaving some photos below for you to check, that I captured during my gameplays.

The game is good, btw. If you like zombie surviving genre, you'll enjoy playing it. And I can suggest you Guardians of the Galaxy for Photo Perfect screenshots if you're up to it. Some photos below.

This shot has an incredible sense of atmosphere. The lighting and the character's pose really capture that feeling of being right inside the world of the game. What part of the map took you the longest to get right for a photo like this?
