The weekends are always wonderful, so we look forward to them. It's actually Friday today in my country, and I'm so relieved and excited that it's really Friday. I have never really understood what it actually meant when people go all over social media with #TGIF until I started my current job around July. This is the first time I am working a corporate job that allows for weekends, so I only work from Monday through Friday, and trust me, since then the feeling is different.
What if right now, someone reaches out to me and says Hey Sammy, how would you love to spend the weekend with an unlimited budget 🙃
Come on, are you kidding me?
Imagine all that I have had in mind to buy for myself. You see, let's not deceive ourselves; we all have expectations. As a matter of fact, we carry them everywhere; this is the reason why, if some unexpected money enters our hands, immediately our brains begin a series of scanning files in our heads, so you get the urge of buying all that you've ever wanted

This is the reason why it feels like money is in control; it's just that we have a whole lot we really would have gotten if we had the money around, and so if I have, like, tomorrow, that is Saturday, an unlimited budget on solo, first of all I would go shopping, yes I have planned a long time to change my wardrobe, as a matter of fact everywhere I go, and I see some outfit I just wish I could buy them instantly, but then the means is not within my reach.
Secondly, I would go on a vacation. At this point in my life, I really need to go somewhere far, like breathe fresh air, go hiking, picnic, tours. I love to travel and visit new places; that is what I would definitely do...
Thirdly, I would take myself out. I am a lover of nightlife, enjoy various street food, go to the movies, visit the spa; I would make sure I have the best of my weekend.
As someone who believes strongly in savings and investment, I would save a major part of that budget; I would invest in real estate, in viable businesses that would reproduce. It's ot just about spending or lavishing; I would also buy things with long-term value and resale value in the future...
Sometimes it's just okay to enjoy the life you live, away from worries, anxiety, disturbance, and for a day just breathe for a moment; this is what I intend to do if I get such an opportunity this weekend...
Happy weekend @ladiesofhive and to everyone following.
