My creative friends, happy Friday.

It’s been a long time since I’ve shared my designs; to be honest, I’ve been a bit inactive. To be frank, I’ve lost a lot of motivation, and the thing is, without a printer, it’s hard to show the final result; it would be a daily expense, and well, there are priorities. However, whenever I can, I’ll be sharing and showing my work, just like this design.

Hace mucho que no comparto mis diseños; la verdad, he estado algo inactiva. Para serles sincera, me he desmotivado mucho, y es que sin una impresora, es difícil mostrar el resultado final; sería un gasto diario, y bueno, hay prioridades, sin embargo, cuando se pueda, estaré trayendo y mostrando, así como este diseño.

We’re already just a few months away from the end of the year, and honestly, I feel like this year took a lot from me and left me with nothing, but anyway, let’s save that for later. Here’s a simple, easy, and practical design—one of those mini-calendars—that’s perfect as a gift if you run a business, or just as a keepsake.

To make them, we’ll use Canva, a great tool that lets us create these beautiful designs. With its wide range of resources, we can add motivational quotes or phrases related to a specific niche. For example, I made these designs as gifts for my gym buddies whose birthdays were coming up, so I took the opportunity to design them with a gym theme.

Ya estamos a pocos meses de culminar el año, y la verdad, siento que este año me quitó mucho, y no me ha dejado nada, pero bueno, dejemos eso para después. Aquí les traigo un diseño sencillo, fácil y práctico de estos minicalendarios, ideales para regalar si tienes un emprendimiento, y simplemente de recuerdo.

Para ello usamos Canva, un valioso programa que nos permite crear estos diseños tan bonitos. Con sus recursos variados, podemos ponerles frases motivadoras o relacionadas con algún nicho en específico. Por ejemplo, estos diseños los hice para regalárselos a mis compañeras del gym que estaban de cumpleaños; entonces aproveché la ocasión para diseñarlos con la temática del gym.

I created the template and printed the background on photo paper and the months section on a color letter-size sheet.

Creé la plantilla e imprimí la base en papel fotográfico y la parte de los meses en hoja carta a color.

Cut it out and put it together—as you can see, it’s small, perfect for placing wherever you like—and since it was going to be a gift, I wrapped it in clear wrapping paper, along with one of my delicious oatmeal cookies and this fun “Powerful Girls” sticker.

Recorte y arme, como ven, es pequeño, ideal para ponerlo donde gustes, y como iba a ser un regalo, lo envolví en papel transparente, junto con una de mis ricas galletas de avena y este sticker divertido de chicas poderosas.
