Hello everyone. I’ve been playing non-stop lately. As I mentioned in previous posts, one of my goals was to fuse cards to level them up; over the course of various matches, challenges, and quests, I gradually gathered the necessary cards—specifically the ones I was most keen to upgrade, such as a certain Summoner and the cards I usually place in the front lines due to their strength. So, once I had them ready, I went ahead with the upgrades. Today, I’ll share how I leveled up Jolius Blast and a few other cards to Level 2.

Estos días he estado jugando sin parar y es que, como comenté en anteriores posts, el progreso que he tenido, uno de los objetivos que quería lograr era fusionar cartas para subirlas de nivel, por lo que poco a poco, con varias partidas, retos y misiones, me había hecho con algunas cartas para ello, y entre ellas las que más me interesaban subir de nivel, que eran algún invocador y cartas que suelo poner en las primeras posiciones por lo bueno. Bueno, luego de esperar a tenerlas, procedí a subirlas de nivel, así que hoy les compartiré cómo subí a nivel 2 a Jolius Blast y otras cartas más.
Let's start right off with my Jloius Blast; I have to say right away that it's the card I use most often because I really like it. It was also one of the first ones I won in various activities—including those hosted by @iblast—so I was particularly excited to level it up. I had even seen matches where it performed flawlessly, which made me even more determined to get it; so, once I had the five necessary cards, we upgraded it to level 2.
Empezamos justamente con nuestro Jloius Blast, que de una debo decir que es la carta que más suelo usar, ya que me gusta mucho, y bueno, también de las primeras que gané en las diversas actividades, incluidas las de @iblast, por lo que tenía especial emoción subir de nivel. Incluso me habían mostrado partidas donde se veía impecable y, pues, me hicieron más decidida a tenerlo, así que luego de llegar a tener las 5 cartas de este necesarias, lo subimos a nivel 2.
And with that, we have a Jolius Blast that not only possesses the Void ability—which halves damage taken from magic attacks—but also gains the Enrage ability at level two, increasing its speed and melee attack by 50% when it loses health.
Y con esto ya tenemos un Jolius Blast que no solo tiene la habilidad de Void, que reduce a la mitad el daño recibido por ataques mágicos, sino que en nivel dos tenemos también la habilidad Enrage, la cual aumenta su velocidad y su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo (melee) en un 50% cuando pierde vida.
The second card we upgraded to level 2 was our summoner, Barthalamas. Some friends had told me it was important to level them up to improve performance and ensure the cards utilized their abilities more effectively; that’s why I made a concerted effort to gather the necessary number of cards. I have to admit it was a bit of a struggle, but once we were ready, we went ahead and upgraded it to level 2.
La segunda carta que subimos a nivel 2 fue a nuestro invocador Barthalamas. Algunos amigos me habían dicho que era importante levelearlos para así mejorar y que las cartas usaran mejor sus habilidades; por eso estuve muy atenta a reunir el número necesario para estas y debo decir que me costó un poquito, pero una vez listo, igualmente la pasamos a nivel 2.
And now that it has been upgraded, it will allow us to play better with higher-value, more powerful cards in our battles.
Y ahora, ya mejorado, nos permitirá jugar mejor con cartas más altas y poderosas en nuestras batallas.
The third card chosen—also of the Fire element—was FrankarsGard; it is quite interesting in its own right, and I use it frequently. Since we already had the cards, we took the opportunity to level it up and see what improvements we could get.
La tercera elegida, también de elemento fuego, fue la carta FrankarsGard, la cual de por sí ya está bastante interesante y la suelo usar bastante; ya que teníamos las cartas, aprovechamos a levelearla a ver qué mejoras obteníamos.
And indeed, we got one, and what happens with this card is that, as I understand it, depending on the type or rarity, this improvement falls and on this occasion it was in the life points, going from 7 to 8, and that depending on the rule where it is, this can be greatly enhanced in conjunction with the summoner, so it was a good choice.
Y en efecto, la obtuvimos una, y lo que pasa con esta carta es que, según tengo entendido, dependiendo del tipo o rareza, es donde cae esta mejora y en esta oportunidad fue en los puntos de vida, pasando de 7 a 8, y que dependiendo la regla donde esté, esta se puede potenciar mucho en conjunto con el invocador, por lo que fue buena elección.
One of the cards that made me want to level up the summoner was the neutral element card called "New Beluroc Aegis"; whenever I went to use it, a warning would pop up stating that, due to level constraints, I wouldn't be able to utilize its full potential—which gave me the urge to upgrade it. So, taking advantage of the fact that we had quickly gathered the necessary number of cards, we went ahead and leveled it up.
Una de las cartas por las que quise subir de nivel al invocador era la carta de elemento neutro llamada "New Beluroc Aegis", la cual siempre que me disponía a usar, salía con esa advertencia de que por temas de nivel no usaría toda su capacidad, lo cual me causaba esa necesidad de mejorar. Así que, bueno, aprovechando también que obtuvimos raído el número de cartas, pasamos a levelearla.
And just like with the previous card, we got an improvement in hit points—going from 5 to 6—which is advantageous for its Taunt ability.
Y al igual que con la carta anterior, obtuvimos una mejora que es en los puntos de vida, pasando de 5 a 6 puntos, siendo ventajoso para su habilidad de taunt.
The last card we leveled up was a Water-element card, as I’ve been—as I mentioned earlier—switching between elements to learn about each one. In this instance, the first card of this type we’re leveling up is "Port Guardian"; I have to say, I really like its design. I managed to collect the necessary number of cards for this one in quick succession—I hadn't actually expected to be able to upgrade it, but once I saw that I could, I went ahead and leveled it up.
Y la última carta que subimos de nivel fue de elemento agua, ya que he estado, como dije antes, variando entre los elementos y así aprender de cada uno. Y en esta ocasión, la primera de este que subiremos de nivel es la carta Port Guardian, que debo decir que me es bastante bonito su diseño. En esta, más que todo, conseguí el número de cartas de manera sucesiva, ya que no esperaba poder mejorarla, así que una vez que vi que podía, pasé a levelear.
In this case, the improvement was to her defense—going from 2 to 3 points—which I liked because I usually place her in the front position; now I know I’ll focus on the "Art" stat and on leveling up her summoner as well.
En esta, la mejora fue en su defensa, pasando de 2 a 3 puntos, cosa que me gustó porque, como tal, la suelo poner en la primera posición y ahora sé que me enfocaré en arte, en subir también de nivel a su invocador.
And with that, we have our first batch of Level 2 cards to help us progress faster, allowing us to both rank up and see those upgrades in action.
