[Anime] Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious{review}

Have you even seen an overpowered hero escaping away from the battlefield? Can you Imagine a situation like that? It may seem funny, but such kind of scene made me interested to watch the anime named “Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious”. I didn’t know that hero was overpowered. I thought hero may be something with decent power. It’s an anime with 12 episodes, and each episode’s length was approximately 20 minutes.

In the anime “Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious” an overpowered hero called Seiya Ryuuguuin summoned by a goddess to save a fantasy world. Seiya had overwhelming strength from the beginning, but he is different from the other overpowered hero we usually see in anime. He is extremely cautious. Before going to the battlefield, he trains a lot and he calculates all the possibilities and situations.

Because of his extreme cautiousness all the situations remain under his control as he prepares himself to face all the possibilities. Unless he becomes sure about the outcome, he doesn’t move forward. He doesn’t think emotionally and nor does he have any moral to be a hero to save the people. He doesn’t make any reckless moves even in critical situations. The most interesting thing is that when he sees that the enemy is powerful, he starts to run away without any hesitation even leaving others behind in the battle that other hero usually does.

He thinks he can’t afford to lose his life because if he loses the life there will be no one to protect the world and that’s why he can’t afford to lose even if it requires few sacrifices. Keeping aside the personality of hero, the bonding of other characters and hero is quite interesting. Especially the bonding between hero and the goddess is quite funny and makes you laugh. How heroes treat others like tools is something funny to see and it shocks others usually and makes them frustrated.

But the question is why is the overpowered hero extremely cautious? He does things which seem to make them feel down but he done that to protect them. What is the story behind it? If you are curious to know about it, you need to watch it. You will see comedy, action, fantasy and emotional storytelling in the anime. I think everything was balanced in the anime quite well and it’s a good one to watch. At least I can guarantee that you won’t feel bored if you watch the anime and if you have time, you can end seeing the whole season in a single day.
