Incessant Sage's ability couldn't stand against magic.

In recent days I have been facing busy times, but I am not forgetting to play the battles of Splinterlands as I love to play it and the more battle, I play, the more I learn about my strategy and learn how to improve it. After reaching the Gold League my battle is getting tough. Obviously, I can’t expect to play battles in this league with someone without having any good strategy as they also reached there with their own strategy.

Winning becomes hard but I think battle becomes more interesting and I feel a sense of achievement whenever I win a battle. If I win a battle, it means my strategy is better than my opponent and this opponent is smart like me. “Marlai Singariel” Archon is one of my favorite Archon, and it allows me to win battles against higher level of Archon. And Today I am going to share a battle like that where I won battles against “Incessant Sage” of higher level. The win was satisfying.

Max Mana Cap was 53 and the ruleset was standard. Mana Cap was good enough to select good cards. In the 1st position I selected “Great Bear Druid” for having good health and with the archon ability it had 2 magic attack power and 1 melee attack power which was good enough to bring damage to the first card of my opponent. The 2nd position were for “Lunaki Howler”. It was selected for magic 2 magic attack power with my Archon ability. My target was bypassing the Armor just by selecting magic attack power-related cards.

3rd position was reserved for “Water-Logged Wizard” and the purpose of it were similar to the second card and the attack and health of it were also the same as the second card. In the 4th position was reserved for “Saltwater Mage”. It attacks the units of the opponent who stay in the last position. I wanted to attack my opponent from both sides and with the 3 magic attack power of the Saltwater Mage it could give good damage to the opponent unit stays in the last position. So, it was a good one to stay there.

The 5th position belonged to my favorite card, “Mystic Scaleweaver”. I like this card for having 7 health and 3 magic attack power with my Archon ability. Besides it has the ability to slow down the units of my opponent, and no other card can replace this one no matter what. And in the last position, I used “New Beluroc Aegis”. This card has the ability to draw the attack of opponent, and I placed this card in this place only to draw attack of opponent and protect my others unites to allow those to attack for longer time.

I think I was good with the strategy. Strength of my opponent was Armor, but I selected magic which means Armor wasn’t effective against my attack and it secured my victory. Because of my magic attack my opponent became helpless. Winning a battle with higher level Archon is something that gives me interesting vibes. I recommend you watch the battle.
