Some skills to save some money

At the present time the inflation rate is getting higher and saving some money considering the overall situation is not so easy. In this kind of situation, we cannot leave every task to the professionals as it costs a good amount of money. It's better to handle some tasks on our own as long as we can manage them. Sometimes we can do it because of our interest also and I believe that many people love to do such kind of thing. The interests can be different, but I think as long as it's something we enjoy it's understandable. What kind of skills do you have like that? I'm going to share about mine.

From childhood I was very curious about electrical things because I don't know why I am always curious to know more about it. I used to do various kind of experiments with electrical things and devices and because of me some of those devices were destroyed but I think compared to other kids my destruction was almost close to nothing because most of the time I used to fix things well even after doing things messy. I guess it was because I was very afraid of my mother and that's why I always tried to be careful even if I was curious. In that time, I have done so many things because of my curiosity but now I'm not so curious like that time but I have the skill of fixing many electrical issues. In my home I can fix almost all kinds of electrical issues unless it's something serious. So, you can call me mini electrician.

Polishing shoes is something which actually take times when I need to do it from outside. Several times I observed it's carefully how to polish the shoes because I thought people were easy money by doing it. I wanted to give it a try because I thought we would be better to polish my shoes and my father's shoes in home. So that we don't need to stand outside and waste our time. I just told my father to buy those things that required for polishing shoes. And honestly, I think that it's super easy and anyone can do it. In home I can do it in my free time, and I don't need to place my timing outside and It's cost effective to do at home. But no, I never thought about doing it for business purposes.

I think except for both mentioned one, I am not good in other skills, and I don’t try to do something when It’s something beyond my capacity because I think that it can make situation worse. Some thing should be left for professional as I know that I am not a trained one.

Learning to fix electrical issues and even polish shoes at home is such a practical set of skills to have, especially with costs going up everywhere. We're big believers in doing things ourselves here too — it saves money and you end up actually understanding how things work.
