“The Kingdoms of Ruin” is an anime that was in pending for a long time, and finally I ended up watching the anime yesterday. A scene of the first episode caught my attention, and I decided to watch it. In that anime there are 12 episodes and each episode is approximately 23 minutes which is normal/regular time for each episode.
The beginning was like a witch (Chloe Morgan) were fleeing from one place to another with a human kid (Adonis). Chloe was the mentor of Adonis, and he cared about her a lot for her kindness. Witches were friendly with humans and protect humans, but humans became arrogant and started to kill witches as they had the magical power which was a threat for humans at least in the eyes of the king. So, the king executed Chloe in front of public. Adonis wanted to protect her, but he was helpless too and couldn’t protect and see his most beloved person’s execution and all the people were cheering for such a cruel thing. The scene gave me goosebumps.
The king prisoned Adonis and accidentally he was released after 10 years and when he released the started to kill humans and he just wanted revenge for the death of Chloe as he was carrying the hatred of the incident. He believed that every human deserve death and he would not compromise in case of revenge. And he killed many people within short time. But humans had advanced technology to kill him, but other witches protected him as they wanted to revive Chloe for their own motive using the memories of Adonis.
Adonis followed their ritual instead of figuring out but he revived another witch who died while saving him and he repaid his debt for protecting life, but he also tricked the witches and brought humans to kill each other. Except the one witch he revived all of the witches and humans were dead in that scheme. The witch girl he revived were king in nature and tried to change Adonis. Can she change him? Can she help Adonis to break the wall of hatred with her kindness, or will she change after understanding Adonis and his intention.
Another surprising mystery comes in the middle. The wife of the king was also witch and she can create influence? Does that mean killing witched was the plan of king or her? If it’s her plan, then why did she do it? If you are curious to know, you can start watching it.
I want to rate the anime 60 out of 100. I enjoyed the anime and I recommend you watch the anime. At least watch the first episode, later you can decide if you should watch it or not.
