Saludos querida comunidad, para el pasado 21 de septiembre me hicieron varios encargos de flores a crochet, porque según tengo entendido esa es la tradición para celebrar el inicio de la primavera en el hemisferio sur, pero aunque no tenemos estaciones aquí en mi país la costumbre se ha extendido en todo el continente.
Greetings, dear community. Around September 21st, I received several orders for crochet flowers—as I understand it, that is the tradition for celebrating the start of spring in the Southern Hemisphere. Even though we don’t have distinct seasons here in my country, the custom has spread across the entire continent.
Tuve que rechazar algunos pedidos porque los hicieron a última hora y no daría tiempo para entregar el 21, aun así antes de hacerlo les dije que podían estar listo para otro día de esa misma semana si así lo deseaban, sin embargo, ellos no aceptaron, pero por otro lado hubo una cliente que hizo su pedido incluso después de la fecha, me dijo que quería un ramo para su hermana porque ama los girasoles pero que los combinará con otras flores de colores específicos, ella no me dio fecha sino que me dijo que lo hiciera acomodado a mi agenda, es decir, ella no tenía prisa y lo mejor es que confía en mi trabajo.
I had to turn down a few orders because they were placed at the last minute, leaving no time for delivery on the 21st; even so, I let the customers know the arrangements could be ready for another day that same week if they wished, though they ultimately declined. On the other hand, there was a client who placed her order even after the deadline; she wanted a bouquet for her sister—who loves sunflowers—combined with other flowers in specific colors. She didn’t set a date but told me to fit it into my schedule whenever it worked for me—meaning she was in no rush—and best of all, she trusts my work.
Hoy comencé dicho ramo de flores, me rindió mucho el tiempo pero desafortunadamente se me acabó el hilo verde, así que continuaré luego de recargar mis materiales, aún así estoy disfrutando mucho el proceso porque es una cliente que valora mi trabajo y mi tiempo además de ser plenamente consciente de que cualquier día es bueno para regalar flores a crochet 🥰
I started that bouquet of flowers today; I made great progress, but unfortunately, I ran out of green yarn, so I’ll continue once I restock my supplies. Even so, I’m really enjoying the process because the client values my work and my time, and she’s fully aware that any day is a good day to give crochet flowers as a gift 🥰
