Hello, Street Art community. Today I'm here to write the story behind this beautiful mural.
They are two black cats: one is a Sphynx-type cat with green eyes. This one is my favorite, he's the boss of the cats, hehe. As you can see, he also has a tattoo; he earned it by protecting his fellow felines.
Right beside him is his best friend, Thor. He is a cat who loves accompanying the boss. He has always liked staying close to him; he's his partner in adventures and mischief. He's very observant and tells the boss everything that's happening in the cat community.
As you can see, the cats live in a neighborhood where only the strongest survive. Many cats want to be the king of the neighborhood, which is why the boss has earned everyone's respect in the area.
Now, let's look closer at the painting after sharing this mini story about the cats.
You can see a really edgy, dark piece of art. It is extremely well painted; the artists who made this mural are very creative and talented. Plus, it seems they really love cats. They are set in an alleyway filled with graffiti; it's also the alley where many creative people from the art world come to leave their mark, and these cats act as the guardians of the streets.
The creator of the mural placed a pink ball of yarn here. We can imagine this might be the favorite toy of both cats. It creates a contrast with the dark, gothic-style painting by adding a touch of gentleness, because kitties love playing with yarn. So, seeing this in the painting makes me realize that even in a gloomy environment, creatures can still play and have fun.
The painting was crafted with a touch that makes the cats look as realistic as possible. I really like how the floor was done; the tiles look so real too. I also love the yellow streetlamp, which seems to be the light illuminating the neighborhood.
Every detail you see with the two cats represents hours of work for the creators. I am certain that while creating this artwork, they used various techniques to bring this beautiful painting to life.
