I woke up and headed downstairs to switch on the water pump. Our road is still submerged, and it's the sixth day (if I'm not mistaken) of the dam water releases which are causing the flood. There has been occasional rainfall too, often heavy. This has been happening for almost five weeks, and we're still hopeful for a better day.
