It is good to free ourselves from pride, from Ego, believing that we know everything, nor believing everything, complements it.
We must be humble, and have the ability to dialogue with respect and clarity, because knowledge is made from dialogue to create memories, ideas that sustain us.
My mom, who is a very wise woman, said this phrase and it seemed very powerful to me. That's why I want to share it with you, because we live in complex times. At least close to my life there have been many changes, loss, pain and events that remind you daily of the fragility of life.
From earthquakes, to people who die from diseases or unexpectedly. The change of living conditions, and stop counting are clear signs of a topic that I have been talking about lately... life is becoming more and more complex. In the midst of that, a key question has arisen for me. What sustains us? How do you cope with so much? And the answer has come from the side of that brilliant phrase of my mom. Memories have to be created.
As someone trying to live as a stoic I don't expect life to get easier, or the pain to go away. I always ask myself, what depends on me? What is under my control and how can I put it at the service of life? And there the memories as a result of the experiences make the difference.
We have to create memories, because life is now, it's urgent, the conversations I have with my mom always leave me some good things, I always take advantage of my mom's wisdom.
Creating memories in fact implies allowing ourselves to live, travel, get to know, move out of our comfort zone, not leaving for later the affection or the desire to do something, to wear what you like ... The today that comes to us after the storm carries a great responsibility.
Having the initiative to try in a different way how to add friends at the end of the Gaussian curve is the last form of social courage that remains in adult life: choosing, from time to time, to continue betting on the unknown, with friends.
Let's change the question and we'll change your perspective. When we face a difficulty, let's stop asking ourselves why me? and let's start questioning: Why me? Definitely, trials do not come to destroy us, but to teach us strength, patience and resilience... If life continues on its course, regardless of whether we like it or not, let's worry about creating memories that serve as a reminder that despite the difficulties life deserves to be lived.
Well learned task from my mommy, who always told me daughter, never be ashamed to ask. Thank you Mom for your infinite wisdom. I will love you forever.
