Do not break the Chain

Photo of the day: image.png Another busy EURO 2024 watching day at 't Vat

"I've been here before" the experience of missing a day in the challenge. Or at least a key task.

Part of my #30daychallenge is to write a short 5 minute blog about my day or something else here on Hive. And while I did put out a post yesterday, I practically skipped a day.

Missing a day is something that occasionally happens. Especially if you are trying to focus on an upcoming event and try to find an impossible work-life balance. The importance however is to minimize that miss to one day, and one day only. If you want to know more about this theory, >>here<< is a great read on the origins of the theory by James Clear.

I'm happy that the break is limited to one day, hoping for a better tomorrow.

Yesterday, I went 10 out of 20. Today 11 out of 20. At least there still is some consistency. Do have my eye on a 20/20 day in the next week.

And what that meant? Maybe, I'll share it tomorrow. Or tomorrow will be a totally different freewrite. Who knows.

Congrats on having a goal and taking the steps in order to meet it. This reminds me of the challenge I set for myself to make 500 comments in 10 days (on average, 50 comments per day). Some days I exceeded my number, while on others, I fell behind. But through steady effort, I completed my #500CommentChallenge on Hive. Keep going! :)
