The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. Most of my fights happened on the last few days of the season as I was in a rush to move up before the season ended.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 60,930 Glint for last season, which is slightly more than what I was getting before. You still get half during the fights and half after, so it was over 100k Glint this time around. The SPS was rewarded at the end of the season. I played Modern a bit more than usual.
I did get 4 league advancement rewards in Modern. I started at the lowest division, and did quite a few fights. No good frontier packs as I spent more time in Modern.
With so much Glint, I decided to splurge on some legendary cards and got a gold foil legendary. It's my first one in a long time, and I did spend 40 potions to double my chances. It was worth the 40 potions.
Gladius Packs
I got 4 packs this time around, and the opening seems to be the same as last time. There were no legendary, gold or epic cards this time around. A bad opening, and I did forget to submit one of my brawl matches this season. So I might have been able to get one more pack if I did. Unfortunately, not cards could be upgraded this time.
SPS
My SPS rewards were higher than last time because I did quite a few modern fights. My brawl rewards are down but that was probably because I missed a brawl round.
I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 95.276 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference of a few more days removed on top.
Conclusion
It was an interesting season as I spent the last few days of the season in Modern. It was fun seeing all the Glint from the battles, and I didn't think I could earn so much. I did well enough though, and I got my first Gold Foil Legendary card in a while.
