The dirt roads south of the town insist on crossing the valley lands that once belonged to a single owner and now belong to many. They are roads full of puddles from the previous day's downpour, surrounded by occasional groves and huge pastures whose plain is dotted with other trees that rise like unexpected intruders amid the morning mist. Coming to these places is always good, especially after nights of downpours; the excessive humidity makes the mist linger longer than usual, embracing the entire rural landscape. And the wire fences say something, as do the gates and even the spiderwebs filled with tiny drops of dew. And the silence is only broken by some flock of birds passing by, or by some person going early to work in the fields. And in the midst of all this I feel a bit like an intruder, and I even appreciate not being able to watch myself wandering down the road looking so discordant, as if taken from somewhere else. Gee, I certainly must look like a stranger on these roads prowling around with a huge old camera hanging around my neck and talking to no one, while taking a photo. Yes, fortunately I cannot see myself, unless it is reflected in some puddle. But, be that as it may, here are my photos for you today on #Hive and they are from a morning like this: with mist, in the countryside, walking down the dirt road, while the sun seems slow to appear...
