You are Gonna Give Me How Much For That? Turning a Parts Truck Into Hive Power!!

As some may know I finally got the parts truck hauled off to the local junkyard. I was just looking for a place to dump this thing off. There are a ton of good parts on it but I just don’t have the time to deal with it. I wasn’t expecting much, just hoping they would take this parts truck and 8-wheels and tires off my hands and call it even.

Unloading the parts truck was a bit of a circus just like loading it and again it all worked out and nobody died and nothing got broke. Imagine that!?!? Now check this out... he brought me in the office, I handed over the title and he handed me a check for $200... WHA-WHA... WHAAAT?!?! It had a rear axle ratchet strapped to the frame, no front axel, and the dreaded 5.4 Triton V8 in it. No bed or hood or front fenders, and 210k miles on the engine with a bad valve. I better take that check and run before he changes his mind. Lol. Actually all the glass the truck has is worth 3 times that amount, along with that axle... but still. I only paid $500 for the truck, sold enough parts off it to pay for itself, then I took over $2,000 worth of axles out of it, and now scored $200 on top of that.... Welp looks like I better turn this parts truck into some HIVE and power it up!! I mean what else should I do with $200???

After comparing the fees on Coinbase and Cashapp... I chose CashApp... the fees are 1/2 of Coinbase! Really?!? Then I sent the BTC over to my Exodus Wallet, then decided to do a quick trade with @blocktrades...

Now, while I wait for Grandpa BTC to transact, why not convert some HBD to Hive using @swap.app? I mean it’s right there in your Peakd.com wallet under the amount of HBD you have... quick and easy just like.... nevermind

Now I could have waited until the 1st December for HPUD (Hive Power-Up Day) but when I got a mission in mind... I must complete it. So using the $200 worth of BTC converted to Hive through @blocktrades. Then add in the Hive from my 55 HBD conversion using @swap.app I ended up with a nice 2k Hive Power-Up.

Plus a little extra Hive to play with...

Alright so.... Which Hive-Engine Token should I buy with the leftovers... shill me your favorite Hive-Engine token and explain why, granted it’s only 67 Hive but hey, it’s what I got. I am leaning towards BRO... but I can easily be persuaded. 😜😜

The price ratio of HIVE/HBD is 7.8 : 1 in your image. This time is good for HBD to HIVE converting. Is it right or not?

I guess I wasn’t the only one! Congrats!

I wish we could get everyone powering up, I just realized how much hive the exchanges have compared to powered up whales....most hive is not powered up, no wonder the price is so low. I do think that will change now that bitcoin is taking off

Not bad at all! Great way to increase your Hive Power. My goal for next year is to reach 50K HivePower, I think I can do it. I have uses @swap.app in the past and it's a great way to turn HBD for HIVE, @blocktrades is also quick but I've seen that I can get better conversion rates by using Bittrex or Binance, it takes more time though.
