Traditional mushrooms have returned to the property [Esp/Eng].

How are you, my friends of this wonderful Community? I'm very happy to be participating in this unique Contest. This is one of those initiatives that encourages people to participate, as it's an opportunity to share with fellow mushroom enthusiasts the different species found in our area.

If you're just starting out as a mushroom hunter,

"fungi": this is one of those "genera": that you should avoid picking at all costs. While some species in this genus are edible, many are not, unless you're a skilled mushroom hunter and can easily identify them. If you're not, take my advice: don't bring them home to cook with them.

¨Lepiota¨:

Contrary to what many people might think, due to the texture and appearance of this "species":of mushrooms, in some countries they are considered edible, while in others they are not dared to eat them because of their very hard texture. These specimens are actually "harvested":for their different uses, including their purported healing properties for various ailments.

¨Pycnoporus¨-¨sanguineus¨:

These ¨fungi¨:  are those that I personally consider a classic type, given that some time ago they were the kind that we found frequently, although in the last year they have appeared seasonally, and when they appear it is common to find them every week. This genus has about six different species, and they are truly beautiful to behold.

¨Schizophyllum¨:

I would say that this week has been great for our mushroom hunting, as we were able to photograph with our "camera" :  classic mushrooms that have reappeared in the reserve. While I love doing our mushroom hunt in the city center, we always find the best and most beautiful species on the property.

The mushrooms are very beautiful, in my area it is difficult to find mushrooms at the moment because there is a drought

Hermosas fotos Luis!

  • The reserve is truly beautiful, especially since we visited it with the intention of finding beautiful mushrooms, and we certainly succeeded; we came across some truly gorgeous species, particularly the lepiota mushrooms.

    Beautiful photographs
