Epic Prototype Racing at Spa Francorchamps
Today I bring you the first in a series of gameplay videos I am looking to create for Hive.
This is a commentary video on a really fun race I had a few days ago. It's my first race back after about 2 weeks. Work has been killing me lately, so finding time to jump into the sim has been tough.
Still, this race DID NOT DISSAPOINT.
LMP2 is easily my favorite class of race car. It's got the power and downforce of a prototype, but it lacks the annoying little battery nuances of a Hypercar. It's just the perfect balance.
In this race I chose the Iron Lynx No 9 Oreca 07 LMP2
On the right you can see the real life drivers for this car
This race consisted of:
- 34 LMP3 prototypes
- 8 LMGTE GT Race Cars

My personal favorite is the Porsche. The thing turns on a dime!
But for today, I'm rocking the Oreca prototype!
The race was 30 minutes that went far better than I expected. I was taking it easy, and after a disappointing qualifying round - 17th out of 34 cars - I was aiming for a top 15 finish.
I never expected to be fighting to keep 8th!
I had to take advantage of slower traffic and use all of my race-craft to fend of a clearly faster driver.

9 Positions! Insane!
A solid boost to both my driver rank and safety rank. I'm going to claw my way back to Silver rating!
Holy crap!
My fastest lap was faster than Hila, P7, P6, P5 and P4!
If I was in top form, if I had actually practiced, I could have fought for podium!
One thing to note
Sorry if the quality isn't the best, I'm still getting a hand of OBS and all the rest. I think the game volume was too low - I'll be sure to fix that next video.
I tried to upload this to 3Speak but I didn't realize there is a 1GB limit to uploads.
But yeah, I'm learning as I go.
I'd still like to upload to 3Speak, so maybe I'll restrict full race videos for YouTube and highlights for 3Speak. Just an idea.
