Yesterday I talked about the technology of flying cars and the rationality behind it, and honestly it's something a lot of people will not get to experience.
I think the technology behind flying cars might just be like going to the moon where only celebrities, rich geeks and scientists might be the only ones that will experience it and because of this exclusivity, it'll probably be another fairytale for the average person.
In reality there are a lot of technology and breakthroughs that's been scientifically engineered, but the average person will not experience it.
A lot of diseases can be cured already, a lot of possibilities for genetically modified artificial organs are already in the making, and a few people who can access these care are the only ones who can experience or have it, and the problem is that while humans have made so many breakthroughs in science and technology, the average person will never know, never get access to it, or even go on experience the full effect of it.
Most times technological advancements are often praised when they're accessible, the likes of phones, cars and all that. If they continued to remain exclusive then man will still continue to remain in the stone age.
The technological advancements brought by the likes of Elon Musk are only meant for the elites. From his spaceX IPOs and now his ideas of flying cars, I don't think these things are advancements that are going to change the lives of the average man.
Elon Musk himself being part of the 0.1% in the world will definitely not be making advancements that will be beneficial to the ordinary person, it just doesn't look like it, and this is because of one reason.
There are billions of dollars available to be made when you're making technology or advancements that's targeted at the regular human.
Sure, you're going to be making a lot of money, but people like Elon Musk who is a NEPO baby scientist or tech guy didn't become rich by targeting the average guy, it's simply not possible.
The likes of BILL GATES did their contribution by bring MICROSOFT, but honestly, nowadays Bill Gates is mostly concerned about outbreaks, virus, vaccines, and probably all that shady stuff that now has to do with "funding malaria infested areas in Africa", and that's the whole point.
These things are on paper, we see them on the news but we hardly see anyone come out to say something like "oh I was a beneficiary of the Bill Gates, malaria thingy".. These guys are mostly focused on money, and probably selling patents to the highest bidders, creating vaccines for futuristic viruses and massively cashing out from them.
So, for a lot of billionaires scientists and all that, it's probably more about providing or making advancements for either delusional and cocky rich people or just something that they can easily milk and make billions of dollars from.
If you look at the world right now, there's not a lot of beneficial advancements going on for people who aren't rich, it feels like everything has been developed, but that's not true.
Scientists and tech people are mostly just targeting a different audience. Advancements towards general health are developed but hoarded. Someone once asked me if there was a cure to my genetic condition, I told them yes, then they asked me why I haven't gone for it, then I told them the price and they were shocked.
So technically it's not a cure, it's more of a product with a price tag.
A cure is basically when you can walk into a hospital, pay for a procedure, get cured without having to either accumulated debts that'll take 70 years to pay for, (that's if there's an option to pay installmentally, after you've been cured) or that'll require you selling your soul to the devil.
Conclusion
In reality, you'll be shocked that a lot of technology are already advanced and so much is already possible, but unlike in the 1700s or 1800s, people are no longer driven to create advancements because of recognitions and genuinely helping the human race.
NEPO babies like Elon Musk who are probably men who their names will go down in history as tech gurus who created advancements for other NEPO babies. In reality, tech is tech isn't it? Well this is what I feel about the tech behind "flying cars".
The sophistication will probably be too complex for the average man especially when it comes to affordability, until maybe 20 to 50 years time.
So basically it's currently a facade or a unicorn at the moment, but no doubt, it's an advancements nonetheless.
