Discipline and things that makes me proud

Ever since I managed my first strict pull-up, I’ve felt unstoppable. It’s not just about mastering an exercise I’d been chasing for so long; it’s that it fundamentally changed how I view training. Before, I would go to the gym, train, and try to improve, but without any specific goal. Once I finally decided what I wanted to achieve, I structured my training and started working toward it. At first, I didn’t see any progress, but I kept at it. Then, I came across a challenge that aligned perfectly with my goal, and suddenly, everything started to make more sense. I learned how to focus my efforts, and in the end, I achieved what I set out to do.

Now, I want to apply that lesson to other areas of my life. While I have a clear sense of direction when it comes to exercise, I sometimes feel lost outside the gym. It’s interesting I understand that strength is built with patience, that you have to put in the work for what you want, and that results aren’t always immediate yet I struggle to apply that same logic to other aspects of my life. Perhaps I don’t need to have my entire life figured out right now; instead, I can start by identifying what I want, setting priorities, and moving forward one step at a time. If I could learn to do something that once seemed so difficult, I want to believe that I can also learn to navigate these other parts of my life. For now, I have that one pull-up as proof that I’m capable of achieving what I set my mind to and that, in itself, means a great deal to me.
