What a wonderful gift it is being an artist. Selling your art would be great too, a businessman and an artist. Double bonus. Still, the primary experience for me is that is the artist.
My latest collage is done in the mood of art for art's sake, pure fun and quite spontaneous. As life should be. I am no longer too concerned about the viewer, the end product being marketable. I'm relaxing into just making art for fun.
This collage, like my several others on view art the NFT showroom gallery, is a space-scape, and this time there is no planet left in the viewer. It's just way out in space. Spaced out. The previous works showed a bit of the planet, and then space. They still had one foot on the planet. Not worth this one.
The image in the center is a shaman who shows his body somewhat merged with the greater cosmos around him. And he rides a crocodile merged worth a space rocket. His solar head smiles out at the viewer.
3 colorful balls or domes fly about, like mobile homes traveling through space, on the backs of lizards, echoing the theme of the harnessed crocodile. Harness your inner reptilian brain.
I have only minted 3 editions of this artwork, and 2 are on sale for a mere 21 Hive tokens. The 3rd remains in my collection as I do work all my NFTs, over 30 by now perhaps.
Life as an artist is fun and fulfilling, sales are secondary. This art of mine is priceless anyway. Even as a pirate that I am.
